I am aware why the embargo is in place, but my question was more to the ongoing ratification by the FL.
The embargo could have been lifted if all the accounts was handed in. If I remember correctly, we was being watched closely by the FL till the beginning of the 2017/18 season irrespective of the embargo being in place or not.

The main issue with the FL is the financial forecast they are due which is a mandatory requirement as you know nobody is willing to sign one which states we are viable and operating within the law. The submitting of the financial accounts and payments to the taxman is just another issue the directors are responsible for so the FL leave it to them to sort that out with the courts if required.
Which leaves Dean's company with a bag of Blue Marbles and no money.

We are still working away on the freebies and loans as contracts come to an end around football clubs. Patricia has got the purse strings firmly tied did you know a purse string is remarkably like a shoestring they go together well at our little olde club being built on a shoestring with the purse strings tied tight.
Talk of embargo being lifted has drifted out again as has talk of Blue marbles being bought out is somebody hoping for a sale or two to fund something.
I hope we have enough money for the Morais dancing it should be seen about now.

Morais hopefully later this month, according to Billy's weekly liar.

We will see.

Alex Perry has been handed a professional contract by the club. Pasty will be happy he loves those two boys called Alex. The problem is he won't be happy till the other Alex gets some game time.

I hope it's soon.

SWIE we need a pair of Alex on the pitch and tied down to the club you know it makes sense I hope Ken and Parky one day see the light.

posted on 6/6/17

Pasty, you are preaching to the converted but as you say PP needs to be convinced.

I see the signing of Morais is in some doubt as the player has said there is no contract and it's been some time since he heard from the club.

Fortunately there is time, as his contract doesn't run out till later this month. Surely a player of his ability should be kept in the loop and have regular contact with PP. Is it possible that he isn't wanted?

Perry looked a good tidy player when I saw him in the cup. Surprised he did not get more chances. May get a chance if spearing goes that one is very quiet. The other Alex. Last time I saw him he was tiny. Hope he has grown a bit since. Probably way too soon for first time football. Finally how about our previously unknown wonder kid 16 max broughton? Linked with spurs, Everton and man utd. Take the peanuts now or develop him and turn him into a multi million player? You all know the answer.

Le Fondre has signed a two year deal!

Only spearing and morais to go and everyone I would have want retained from last seasons squad will be here.

Don't speak to soon Benny there's usually a twist just when you think something is near the end I thought you would have been used to it by now.

We could do with signing Morais and Spearing and then the cherry on the cake, A decent striker.

I'm happy we have signed Alf but we really need more fire power. It's great to have players scoring from every positin but if we sign Morais, he could provide a decent striker with a pan full of chances.

Talking of twists who's doing the sums on the number of squad players where are we up to on the head count and have the EFL agreed to the same again yet and how much agents have taken off us for some of the free transfers.

posted on 7/6/17

We started off with 10 pros. Add the 6 already signed then we can add another 7. That Bradford right back, city player on loan, clayton, morais, spearing, dervite will leave room for one more signing without shifting anyone.

posted on 7/6/17

We need some new faces and some new ideas from PP we can't go a season doing the same as we last in the lower place. Could also do with bringing a few through to increase their sale values before we flog them off to survive.

As its voting day today why not sing Abba's Money Money Money as you toddle off to vote as a little reminder that once upon a time Chairman Ken said promotion would allow him to bring in the much needed investment it'll be a beggar if it comes after we have filled up the embargo squad and the window shuts before this mythical pot of gold arrives unless interest rates are so good Ken intends to keep the money in the bank and live off the interest.

Anyway those of you lucky to get a vote I don't will you be looking out for a Lifting the Embargo Party to put a cross next too or perhaps you fancy a vote for Deano's nice little earner party. If I had a vote I'd be going for the bring back spitting image party.

You must have been away for over 15 years then pasty.
Stay in England for just over six months a year and you can start voting again. Of course you would need to re-register.

No more signings yesterday. Hopefully PP will invite Morais into his office for some serious discussions soon.

No not been away for over 15yrs swie I still pay my taxes and am domiciled over there its just nobody knows where I am and there's no post around these parts. Interweb voting would work for me via statalite I know I could use a proxy but everybody I know from my asylum days has relapsed or been convicted and serving life.

In 've been away 14 years come September. However I spent 7.5 months in England so If I decide to continue to spend just over 6 months per year back in Blighty each year, I can continue to vote. At present the limit is 15 years but with Brexit looming, I might decide to do that and spend the rest of my time in Spain depending on what is decided.

Fortunately I'm in a position to do that.

Parkinson interesting Leeds as replacement for Gary monk.

They'll burn Leeds to the ground if PP goes there.

Will it be money that calls the tune? A big club, money to spend and a larger salary.

I see Ken wants Ameobi. He's got the petty cash tin out and trying to cobble a deal together. Apparently he's found three cases of Phil's herbal tea hidden in the stationary cupboard. It put a big smile on his face.

posted on 9/6/17

Is this Ken having the petty cash the reason why Doris is having to bake some biscuits in her own time at home ? We must be skint if we can't afford some cheap broken biscuits best we give Ameobi a miss and get Morais dancing on the agenda Ameobi could of course be just a lever being used to force a signature and some dancing..

posted on 9/6/17

Would love ameobi back. Need a player liked that even off the bench to offer something different. Looked very one dimensional at times when teams had men behind the ball. He's on a free just the wages need sorting-over to you Ken. £10k a week is most we are allowed to pay. Maybe most of the budget would be blown on him though.

One for golden. Dervite has signed a one year contract with wait for it----- Bolton with an option. Now who would have thought that earlier this year.
