You've all heard about the Marc Iles love for Madine today he dedicates two stories to his other love. This will all go wrong one day as he mixes up his stories of his loves so how long will it be before we see the headline "ST Madine"
You can start to write it can't you will this one day be it ?
ST Madine
Gary goal machine Madine counts his blessings as he scores five in a goal fest wearing his lucky ST sponsored socks in the aftermatch interview the saint of scoring said it was touch and go as his socks were still drying in front of the fire at 13.30 when he looked to the heavens and that well known Christmas carol came to him giving the inspiration which saved the day you know the carol While shepherds wash their socks by night and tumbled dried at home.
Get the cake ready
Dundee FC away on Friday 14 July
One week to go.
The long hot crazy days of summer pass quickly these days we have only one week to go before kicking off the pre season games.
Not only that pasty, life passes so quickly. It's only when you arrive at my age that you know time is short.
Hopefully football will be good this season and life will be sweet.
SWIE
Age is but a number it doesn't really matter as you age you can't always get the digits in the correct order often they are reversed or totally incorrect so don't worry about it its normal.
I did notice the Beano's glancing mention of the first warm up game featuring the development squad do the cartoonist at the Beano not realise their readers are eagerly awaiting news of the first outings of Alex and Alex in this match there must be a lot of money riding on our goal scoring Alex's first goal time and how long before he bags three and five in any match this season while Alex Perry betting is strong on a call up but will it be the 1st team breakings PP's age rule or a young international squad somewhere.
The Mirror is saying that West Ham boss Slaven Bilic will grant Reece Burke permission to head to Bolton until the end of the season. So if it happens, That's more competition for young Alex, whichever one that may be.
Seriously, I'm not bothered about my age. As long as I feel fit, that's what matters.
The Alex's are safe if Reece Burke arrives he is a defender 6ft 2" in old money a bit young for PP at only 20 I wander will this be just to top up the number for emergency use if it happens .
Is our Jay some type of Mockingbird trying to mimic a premier league player ?
Looks like its time to deploy the bird scare cannon and see him off so we can move on. As the python sings Always look on the bright side of life we got even flogging them Adam. Do you think we can interest them in Ben Amos free of charge of course as a peace offering .
He wants to stay near to Liverpool but it seems he hasn't got the message. We are skint. No pasta, no lolly, broke.
He would be better off at Chester or Wrexham the commute is much easer he should have saved enough while with us to be able to afford a house in a nice posh Chester area he might look out of place though those sort of places are occupied by players who did make it in the big time.
It's looking more and more like Wigan for Jay then
WANDERERS are closing in on signing ex-Sunderland winger Will Buckley on a free transfer.
The 27-year-old will sign at the Macron Stadium, subject to a medical, to become Phil Parkinson’s fifth new signing of the summer.
Buckley was released at the Stadium of Light after a miserable three-year spell which saw him play just 24 times and loaned out to Leeds United, Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham City.
He has considerable Championship experience, playing more than 100 games for Brighton in the second tier.
The question is, is he any good?
No idea but find out soon enough if he arrives he probably needs a change after his Sunderland experience you never for sure with PP's picks do you.
As you were back to your beds on the beach
The friendly against West Didsbury & Chorlton on Wednesday 5 July has been postponed
Wilkinson has joined Gillingham on a permanent deal.
Struggled this week having no phone and not being near WiFi so struggled to contribute. Updated the ins and outs as it stands. Suspect there will be quite a bit of movement in the next few days with contracts officially running out. Proctors move will probably get rubber stamped and spearing will just end up signing for someone else. Everyone seems dead happy dean moxey has signed for Exeter. 3 year deal too. Can't be bad.
You best pull your finger out Benny we are expecting something special from you for post number 200
You go out for the day,and you miss all the comings and goings 😉, but we still have Amos 😤.
But things are looking better already still waiting for 2 strikers as back up for the ALEX TWINS.
Wilko has gone how sad he started to show his real form at Chesterfield before breaking his leg watch him go on to hit form again down South he might surprise a few people.
Alex Samizadeh is off as the Beano finally reports what has been going on in the big wide world.
We'll loan him out others will continue to watch his progress and take him away in a swag bag we may never see him again in one our shirts
That leaves us with one Alex we'll need a cunning covert operation to get him into PP's thoughts one day.
Don't forget Samizadeh's birthday this November he'll be 19 another year closer to PP's minimum age limit would he still be entitled to any prizes for bagging several goals in a match while he's away ?
Don't worry pasty, he's not going for the whole of the season just a few months according to the Beano.
He should be fit to come back and play in the first team if we don't manage to sign any decent strikers, or worse still if they are duffers.
I understand the scouts who were watching him are pleased they will get regular trips across the border for a change of diet and scenery from last season.
Poor Alex is ripe for being stolen from us I fear the worst
The samizadeh loan thing maybe just to buy time. Maybe the embargo will be lifted by the January window or maybe pigs will fly. Hes not going to play at Bolton so a bit of first team football may ready him. The thing is Bolton have a history of loaning players out and them not coming back.
Have we still got the embargo then ?
Still it's only 10 days to go until the 10th keep an eye out those pigs might just be getting ready for Take-Off.
Will Buckley signed a two year deal. We need wingers. I hope he's a decent one.
The players haven't been paid their promotion bonuses. Good one ken. It's now 1st July and as jay spearing is no longer on the payroll I have added him on to the out list.
