Was that it for the 200th post we were expecting a master piece we're all feeling a bit short changed just like the players was that intentional so we didn't feel left out ?
Non payment of the promotion bonus is a good indication as to where we are financially. Skint.
Where the hell are we going under Ken? It doesn't auger well for getting out of embargo or surviving the coming season.
Ken has investors lined up once he settles with Holdsworth
It's a smoke screen isn't it. If they won't invest until Ken settles he would have settled before now to get them in he's still going to have to settle at some point in the next 9 days the delay in settling will have cost more so it makes no sense as soon as investors say they will join Ken would have settled to avoid the extra costs and gamble of losing.
Unless of course ken is going to merge with Blue Marble easy finance Corp then it might make sense as the additional costs incurred while we wait could be adsorbed by the new group the finance arm would become another income stream for the club. That sounds sweet but how would you feel about that.
Having a pint with nuns at the cricket. Told me that the players walked out of training yesterday when told of the non payment. Not going to end well all this.
Robbing Peter to pay Paul with so little time left to have the lawyers to do the sums and draw up the documents which will pass the judge doesn't bode well. 'tis true Fridays training session was a short one don't expect a rush back to work until payment is confirmed and was that Jay seen in Liverpool recruiting flying pickets.
Didn't the Beano refer to it as a hitch which will be sorted Monday we best hope there is not another little hitch Monday and on the next big day out in London who's got the train tickets I thought you had them ?
I think I have it.
We are waiting payment from Gillingham for Wilko the undisclosed fee is so much it will save us all allow Ken to take all of Deano's problems away satisfy Blue Marbles loan the judge and lift the embargo. That's why little Lee has said payment on Monday the cheque for Wilko will have cleared by then.
We are saved !
Funny how it took my daily injection from Nurse to make me realise it isn't modern medicine great.
I've got used to the way BWFC do business.. the slow long hard way.
Leave everything till the last minute, seconds in some cases.
All will be well and good on the very last second. Optimistic or what?
KA update on the club site nothing new nothing resolved and some moans plus the usual we want your money sales pitch. As you were then and now back to
Tick tock tick tock
Ken has promised the players will be paid and the accounts will be filed this week. Offers have been made to sports shield and blumarble and hopefully will be resolved this week. Sounds like ken has some money to invest but is reluctant to do so while he is not sole owner. At least ken gives regular updates unlike the Holdsworth camp where the silence is deafening.
If Chairman Ken has any money to invest will he have any money left to invest when the judge has told KA off for not appealing the ACV earlier instead of waiting until the final few days and has had his say. So far its been what goes in must come out Patricia has kept a tight hold on the purse strings to date hasn't she.
What about a Deano surprise he once did party tricks at the junior Whites Christmas party anything is possible.
100% concentration on look out duty this week for those flying pigs and an elephant lifting the embargo
Brace yourselves I've heard the Beano countdown clock is making a comeback in retaliation for the late night ticking off of the intrepid football reporter.
How many times has Ken told us we will be out of embargo soon? I don't know as I have lost count.
I will believe what he says, only when it happens. I do hope he has the money, we are definitely going to need it. Perhaps he is only dragging his feet. We will see.
Is the term 'Jay walking' an English thing now or is it just an Americanism I've just seen Jay walking
I hear not all the people will have all the monies owed by the end of the day. Will this delay the accounts to allow these debts to be shown in red ink.
This will obviously mean the date of the embargo being lifted will be put back the elephant has returned to other duties in the room which leaves us with just those pigs preparing for take off and in flight to look out for.
That clock ticking sounds louder today for some reason.
Proctor money in and out rather quickly he's been paid to allow the deal go through so he's officially gone.
After proctors departure I make it Bolton can sign 5 more players then it's one in one out again. Off course the embargo will be lifted soon so that won't matter
Jake Turner, Connor Hall have signed professional forms as has Jeff King. Presume these will only be allowed to play in the u23 games? Parry may be in the same boat so we maybe able to sign 6 players. Hard work keeping on top of this embargo lark
With all these slots available to players and the new look slimmed down youth teams you'd think we would be saving a fortune even if it's just for a month until we top up the numbers alas there is still a gaping hole in the finances forecast again for July. I hope we put the 2nd place prize money to good use I bet you can't wait to find out in the accounts this week you are not alone I know the judge is looking forward to seeing them as well.
I've now started singing Like Clockwork from 1978 by the Boomtown Rats it started when somebody in the office heard Ken say it'll all go like clockwork I can't figure out who's lost it me or Ken.
Nurse !
Chickens coming home
Somewhere just over a week ago I happened to mention the knock on effects of the embargo questioning how we were to grow our own sell a few on the way you know be like a be a proper trading club.
The Sam Lavelle situation highlights it perfectly the embargo prevented him from gaining any games in the 1st team or going out on loan if they are not allowed to gain experience at home or on loan we'll not produce anything more than the odd one or two to be sold its going to be a lot longer yet before the St Edwin academy becomes self sufficient isn't it.
When he eventually stops keeping count of the slots available under embargo by its lifting will Benny be able to manage to keep tabs on the transfer values we lost out on due to the embargo players either let go or drifted off to pastures new due to being stifled in their development opportunities. It'll be a difficult task some may have looked rubbish and been rubbish but some may not have been allowed an opportunity to develop under the embargo there'll be a lot of players out there to keep an eye on.
The Asset of Community Value (ACV) issue mentioned in Kens last memo and just a couple of days ago on here is still being kicked around Chairman Ken is sweating he wants its removal which can only mean somebody wants to raise some funds against the stadium you know consolidate all your debts into one like the adverts used to say.
Little Lee has put his name down for overtime at the newsagents after being refused a payday loan apparently paper boy wasn't in the computer system.
Gone quiet on the signings. No sign of the 2 West ham players or Darby the Bradford rb. Can put a side out but no depth at all at the moment.
Milligan on hold until we can appeal
All the delays in getting a team together means less time to train together and more time in which the targets may take another offer or just opt against joining us due to all the bad publicity knocking about. Mind you who could blame them if they are also stalling until after our court case closes
Have we signed a mad man the Beano say Will Buckley was unconcerned by our ongoing off the field financial Soap series.
He should slot right into the next episode with ease and the squad and with the fans if he is crazy is he perfect for us besides being free that is.
Milligan deal Spiked
There that's much better than the Beano headline isn't it.
Here's one for today from Spike you may hear it again in court soon.
