Sturridge is too unreliable.

I said on the tranny thread that if he comes back in and performs well for one match everyone will want him kept.

we should be able to get another more reliable striker than danny..

this is basically a shop window for the team most likely to buy him

Why not have sturridge and another striker? They don't have to be mutually exclusive.

because we play with one and two wingers.

firmino is best centrally, sturridge is best centrally, origi too, Danny Ings, Woodburn is a good prospect.

There are too many to fit in there, sturridge is one of our highest earners and never plays, we get a terrible return on our investment and that money could be better spent elsewhere

on the other hand, how many of them are champ league quality? Firmino and Sturridge. The others just arent at the moment. I would want 2/3 CL quality strikers. We defo cant buy 2. Think of Sturridge as a half.

My old man is never optimistic anymore even when we win he moans. I have to keep reminding him it's not the 80's any more
