Without that 2010 miss you may not have won the title last season.

We wouldn't, we were not ready to go up that season.

Was class with Bournemouth in that division as well. He was always talented, just a a bit too slow to ever succeed in the top tier.

He'll drop down again if Reading prevail.

Deserved all the stick he got after his appalling penalty miss.Arrogant and disrespectful,to do that in a penalty shoot out was unforgivable.
Never apologised and quite rightly never played for us again.

Tis funny,
I know he did a silly chip instead of taking a normal penalty,
And that loss spured the team on to where it is today,
But I never felt the amount of stick he took and that he felt he had to leave was justified or fair,
He would probably have struggled the next season with the emergence of knockheart any way,
Who knows

I was never quite sure whether people disliked Kermorgant for taking and missing the penalty the way he did or for showing little to no emotion afterwards. If he'd chip-missed then afterwards shrunken into a ball crying his eyes out at the horror of it instead of being pictured showing a degree of indifference, I wonder whether people (rightly or wrongly) would have been more forgiving.

It's a bit like Holloway's apparent attitude that relegation from the Championship didn't really matter that much.

Come on Thorney, get down off that fence and tell us what you really think.

I'm with Dublin on this - the stick he got was way over the top. Yes, it was a hideous miss and made him (and City) look stupid, but I'm sure he was keenly aware of that for months (if not years) afterwards. Because some people aren't given to outward displays of emotion, it doesn't necessarily mean they don't feel any.

He's certainly had his revenge against us over the years, but I'm glad he's managed to rebuild his career since and finally lay the ghost of Cardiff.

One of three former foxes in the top championship 10 goal-scorers.

He was never going to chip it was he!? Nice for Kermorgant but I hope Reading don't come up - a soulless, characterless club in a soulless, characterless town.

Would love to see Sheffield Wednesday back in the Prem - a proper sleeping giant that has been gone way too long.

He probably did take too much flak but I can say I was in the slightest bit sad to see him go. Also the Song for Yann Kermorgant has brought me much amusement over the years, followed by joy after last season when the whole story just became just a tiny part of the history that led to the ultimate achievement.

After last season I got rid of my therapist, forgave the lad and now finally wish him well!

Reading v Huddersfield final. Got to say I fancy Reading now. Maybe Liam Moore will get another crack at it?

The move to Reading seems to have worked out very well for Liam - a first team regular all season, and no doubt he is benefiting from the advice and guidance of Jaap Stam. It will be interesting to see how he copes in the Premier League in the event that Reading prevail at Wembley. UTF

Sorry going for Huddersfield, a couple of my colleagues are Terriers supporters.
