Murty had two decent games. For the most part he was as clueless as Pedro. See Dundee away when he was doing headstands on the touchline...

However both have been left a lot of dross by that baldy kant Warburton. Wee priqs like Windass who should be nowhere near our club and scheidtbags like fooking McKay. Noone is going to do anything with that. Even Conte would get nothing out this bunch of kants.

Ultimately the problem is a lack of funding from the board. That south African kant lied to us about investing £30M or whatever it was. It'll be the same this summer no doubt either. Therfore next season will be every bit as horrible.

The whole fooking bunch of them from top to bottom can fook off as far as I'm concerned.

BN..you're almost certainly right.

I don't get all this stuff about being fair to pedro.

There's something funny going on that he even got near ibrox in the first place.

There's definitely limited funds for next season and it's a pipedream to think you can move a lot of players out....so you need a wise man to make the best of that situation. He will mess that up big time.

I couldnae really give an opinion on your manager as I haven't seen anough of the team since he took over and also agree him getting his own fellahs in might change things but speaking to Bear mates they seem a baws hair non-plussed so far, he seems a genuine enough guy but can I ask, what exactly is Traynors role at Ibrox?

Is he there to control media input/output?

It did seem a slightly left field appointment as there were a few others who MIGHT have been better at controlling what is a transitional period, imo worst of all, and this is not just Rangers, clubs seem to be hiding "stuff" from the fans, how many clubs could honestly say their club is proper transparent with them?

At the time of his appointment, there were a few saying it was showing ambition, doing something different, etc.

But the way things are going, I'd be questioning the whole process. He's completely unheard of with an average career to date. King has already got his excuse ready-he didn't pick him.

I also found the announcement of his arrival odd-announced as manager whilst games are being played on a Saturday afternoon??

The whole director of football thing has went a bit quiet as well.

Something about his appointment doesn't sit right with me-not that it matters to anyone as he's not managing my team!

To quote a hoary old aphorism, Nice guys finish last.
He has a limited pool of players admittedly, but fook me he's using them about as badly as he can.We have surrendered the midfield in almost every game.
My oldest(bless him)has a theory he's trying to show the board he needs funds to buy better players.Me i just think he's a bit mental.I like mental people to be fair and as a manager one can be as mental as fook as long as the points rack up.
P.S. Mon the Rangers

Such beautiful words

All I can think of is he's trying out options, formations, players and tactics in order to assess the squad, but as I said in another post last night I've never seen a worse display of passing for an entire season in my life. The players Pedro has at his disposal are utter schite, with only a handful at best fit to wear the jersey. Miller, Foderingham and maybe Wallace at most. That's what he has to work with, and why for the moment he has my sympathy and my backing.

On the field he has made changes in that last night only Tavernier in defence would have started under Warburton. He obviously doesn't fancy Halliday and likes Garner. Off the field he makes unnecessary comments about other team's players and managers which , to date, have bounced back at him. I didn't like the apppointment and haven't changed my mind. I've seen nothing to indicate he's a good coach . We have a surplus of mediocre players so it's his job to improve or replace. Will he do it ? I doubt it!!

The signals coming from the players after half time last night did not make good viewing. All arguing amongst themselves and Kenny Miller eventually joining them on the pitch and giving them dogs abuse. It didn't look very positive to say the least.

The Rangers midfield has imo been as weak a middle as I can remember from them, I understand you can only pash wityh the tadger you have and he very well might change that up (rossiter and Krankar?) but it is telling that so many Rangers fans who have watched way more of them than I have are not too excited so far, it is understandable after what has been a tough season and next year might be brighter? only time will tell that, if as it appears he does like Garner then traditional wingers might help anaw

As a Tim I'm not heartbroken when it goes worng for the Gers, not gonna lie but as a fitba fan I enjoy analysing where it goes wrong, 92% certain my opinions are well off the mark anyway

Tbf to warburton he recognised the weakness in midfield and tried to bolster it with several players who didn't work out, and that's where we have lost battles and matches. For our main man in midfield to be Miller says it all.

It speaks volumes that not one midfielder deserves a start !! Not facken one 😩

He's fookin dire mate.I know it's early and he hasn't signed anyone yey but fook me the decision making process is a major concern for me.
I sincerely hope i'm wrong and i have to come on here and admit it, but i fear he is a fookin moon unit of a manager

rats, fair point

A decent midfield can make up for in certain ways a weaker front or back line through cover and support, if the mid is pash then it can compound either, will be an interesting transfer window for you boys, if funds are there (nae idea?) then it will be on his shoulders fully again, time will tell

He should get to Xmas as he's dealing with a group of players that effectively aren't his.

That said, any other season an OF manager who had 5 wins from 10, been humped off Celtic in a semi final, humped by Celtic 5-1 at Ibrox and lost a 26 year record to lose to Aberdeen at Ibrox would be out on his erse.

In a way he's almost lucky his predecessor was so flooking bad

posted on 18/5/17

It might be a tad early to suggest thus, but he does seem a little out of his depth in that I think he underestimated the size of the club and the amount of media/fan focus he'd be under.. hence the daft soundbites. Deila was the same in that respect.

Just watched the highlights and lucky it wasn't a drubbing.

Why do Rangers continue to play out from the back when you always seem to put yourself under pressure?

Definitely an interesting transfer window for Rangers.

Also seen Pedro took the huff with McInnes and didn't invite him for a drink after the game 😂😂😂

Completely neglected the defence though <laugh<

I mind spr saying about January last year he needed to recruit well at CB and then being absolutely raging when this season started as he hadn't.

But but but he has the best squad in the league, and they are on the up, no need to worry, I personally don't think he needs any new signings.
