People like Robb and KFC just want to cause as much chaos and division between innocent ja606 users like us as possible, if you delete the thread you're letting them win, we need to stand together.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Great point!!!

How are they family mate? (if you dont mind me asking?)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The girls are okay to be honest, one of them as I said has cuts and bruises on her legs and elbow from falling over but that's it.

They're shook up by it all, seeing people on the floor, and the sheer noise/panic among the crowd,
more so than an actual understanding of what actually happened, and how it could've been them.

My sister was/is worse as she was the one that booked it and took them etc. She held it together brilliantly to be fair, I guess adrenaline took over and getting out with both girls was the focus, thinking about what could've happened came later.

I've not seen her yet but she said she didn't cry until she walked through the door back at the girls home to our Aunts & Uncles, think it all just hit home just how much worse it could have been if she had to tell them something horrible had happened.

I'm sure time will be the healer

What a horrendous task the security forces have trying to foil these attacks. How do they even go about doing it? Do they have surveillance cameras and recorders at all mosques? How can they possibly intercept information from those just plotting these things outside of these areas? Very worrying times.

this morning to get an update on the incident to find you all bickering and asked you ALL to give it a rest. Your very next post was a load of abuse, which I deleted, then I got on with my work. I am now on my dinner and have come back to see what is going on - which is why I haven't deleted any further post by anyone since this morning.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I didn't conveniently leave it out, I called him a t\|/at.

There you go.

The fact of the matter is Robb spreading misinformation about Islam and talking distorting the factual reasons behind why terrorism exists is a bigger crime than calling somebody a horrible name used by everybody on here.

I'll be reading your other articles in the future to see if you delete every comment which consists of swearing at another poster.
--------------------

As I have said, I haven't read all of the comments from last night. Even if I had, I'm not well enough informed to know whether Robb is spreading misinformation or not.

The reason that I deleted your post is because it came straight after I'd asked you ALL to calm it down. Robb agreed to wind his neck in, you simply carried on with the abuse. Take some responsibility for your own actions and stop playing the victim, its embarrassing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry Elvis but from what I have read on here Robb has been his tvvatish best with just enough said to wind up others and claim innocence

KFC just fell for it more than others

You can delete this obviously and I wasn't around till just now and only caught up with happenings in the last hour or so. I came in here to see what people were saying and there was no surprise the usual culprits were on saying and spreading chit, allowed to say whatever (see Robb and his 72 comments) then outrage at KFC

Load of Kant's using this situation to point score and sound like an recruiting campaign for the NF and BNP
--------------------------

I haven't read the vast majority of Robb's comments, so have no idea if he has been out of order. I just asked everyone to calm it down this morning and KFC started hurling abuse at Robb, so I deleted the post. Its not like I have censored all his previous posts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He has been goading since the thread started

Only reason I haven't been on calling him all sorts myself is time and place.
--------------------

Well, that isn't strictly true. I went to sleep about 12.30am and don't recall him saying anything wrong before I went to bed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Then we either see things differently or you got blinkers on.
---------------------------------

I think my last post before I went to sleep last night was about a suggestion on Twitter that it was a balloon and not a bomb. What did Robb post before that which was out of order?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I can't be arrrrsssed to trawl through every comment, but here is one where you will have been awake

I hope the 72 virgins waiting in heaven for these bombers are Hafi types who torture them for eternity about possession stats

This was before we knew what was going on. Now if hafi reads this and calls him a cant or tvvvat is he not justified?
------------------------

Why would Hafi be upset at Robb making a joke about him loving stats? Hafi does love stars. We all know that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Really?

FYI it was another poster who first mentioned KFC and KFC responded to him and Robb joed in with

Ladies and gentlemen, Kung Fu is here

Killed more threads than a fire at Primark

And it went from there

Like I said blinkered
------------------

How can I be blinkered when I hadn't even read that post? And if Hafi wanted to call Robb whatever for making a joke about him liking stats then that would be fair enough. But KFC did it right after I'd asked everyone to give it a rest and I was trying to calm the thread down (pointless with hindsight). I haven't made any judgement/comment on the incident last night. I merely created a thread to gather/share info, deleted an abusive post and then tried to explain my reasoning for doing so. Not really sure why you are getting all upset.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I am not upset, you asked what Robb said and I posted the first thing I found. It was the whole quote not just the stats bit but fair enough if it wasn't the best example

FYI I didn't read it last night or this morning. When I die see it I started at page 1 and as soon as I saw Robb's comments I knew which way this was going. It was that obvious
-------------------------

None of the comments Robb made before I went to sleep were in my opinion worthy of being deleted. For you to start calling me blinkered for deleting one abusive comment is out of order.

If I had sat up all night monitoring the thread, I might well have deleted some of Robb's posts. But I didn't stay up, because I have to go to work to earn money for my family. You suggesting that I should be prepared to police the thread and read all the comments is laughable. Now please leave this thread alone, as I have no further interest in conversing with you.

Went through the same thing with my Nan last year. Had been ill for a while and it got to the point she had no idea what was going on because they used to many drugs to mask the pain. It's relief more than sadness when they do go.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks Ruiney. She was OK a couple of months ago but went downhill quite quick. Much better than the slow, 10 year, suffering my Grandad had at the hands of Alzheimer's. That probably has taken a few years off my Gran.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Horrible disease, cant imagine your loved one slowly forgetting who you are.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know. It's just so unfair.

Hopefully however takling about this will derail the derailment of the thread!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Is it Alzheimer's mate?

My grandad had the same and it was horrible seeing a.once powerful man become what he did. Loved him and he bought me up but was relieved when he passed

Took my dad to see his older brother over the weekend who now has the same. Bit scared could happen toy dad too
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My Grandad has Alzheimer's for ten years before dying in 2010.

My Gran just went ill with a chest infection and it's gone downhill from there.

Still, they got to live long lives so am grateful for that.

Glad to hear that Mike

Im sure in time the girls will probably manage it better than your sister will.

its such a shame as these are the stories that are never reported but the ones that still have impact on people's lives.

Anyway glad everyone is safe and at home.

It started off with the best intentions, got derailed a bit by people being passionate about their point of view, before settling back to be something quite respectful and kind.
