Why Spence hasn't called out Canelo?

How do you go from having your best opponent be Chris Algieri to fighting one of the pound for pound best at a higher weight? Suicide!

I think I'll rewatch the Brook v Spence fight tomorrow with no commentary before answering that!

Tbh a corner man is not going to know how much his vision is impaired only the fighting does. Brook said he was struggling to see out of the eye and was getting double vision, he was not coming back to win that fight imo.

Yeah, it was the right call from Brook, hard to fight if you can't see the punches coming at you, and it is nice to be able to see things.

I wonder why Spence never called out Canelo?

Didn't want to move up to 154lbs and fight him.

Spence will be out of the 147lbs division by next year.

Needs to fight Crawford and Thurman, hope he does just take easy fights and avoid the tough ones.

Absolutely gutted for kell brook.
he is such a warrior but i fear this defeat to the eye socket injury could may well be the end of his profesional boxing career.

it is such a shame because he has shown a lot of guts after everything he has been through.

credit to errol spence junior on his victory but i dont see him being the one to unify the welterweight division. would like to see him fight crawford or thurman next which are another level up for him but i guess he will take the easy fight vs porter.

such a horrendously bad day today.

south africa lost to englad after they were coasting to victory.
chelsea losing the fa cup final after their big game players not turning up
now kell brook losing in front of his home fans at bramall lane.
on top of that my great grandfather passed away.

Brook was damaged in the other eye socket to the one GGG did in, right? If so, he's either very nervous about suffering that sort of punishment again, or hw may have a very serious problem to cobsider before he thinks about fighting again.

Exactly how I predicted, brook couldn't keep him off and couldn't get his respect, just wore him down

thought brook was marginally the better fighter until the middle rounds

then he seemed to lose energy fast (should never have fought again at welter imo)
