He played for United, of course he refers to them as we.

He did a lot for Liverpool (winning us an FA Cup final by himself), I'm not one to throw a hissy fit because he played for United when we wouldn't offer a contract.

I'm more narked about the way he left us for Real Madrid than for playing for Utd. Both combined though means he shouldn't be a club ambassador IMO.

Wouldn't call it a hissy fit, would call it frustration with people thinking these trivial things actually matter.

Matters to me. I don't want an ambassador for the club saying "we" about Utd. Throw in the transfers and I'd rather he was removed. Feel free to contact the thought police.

Why does the club even need such a role? What does he actually do?

I keep getting this girl-band song stuck in my head, like literally everyday of late - not sure which band it is, or what the song is called - or when I even heard it last. Bloody annoying it is.

Oh and Henry's. Ambassadors at clubs do things like hospitality, meal packages with legend if the club, plus oromote the club overseas. I think Robbie Fowler and a few others were playing a legends game in the far east last week.
