Andy King for manager.
He'd be nothing but polite to the press.
Nev, neither journalist nor Pearson covered themselves in glory there, but Murphy was a joke. He was the one that came across like an idiot in all of that.
His own colleagues even reported it quite uncomfortably at the time.
Sorry, disagree with you if you think differently.
It was uncomfortable the BBC sent Murphy to attend and show NP that the BBC won't be cowed by him it was never going to be fun gig.
The mighty BBC against one man?
So you're accusing the BBC of Bullying then?
A 65 year old Journo against NP teaching him some manners
But he didn't teach him any manners did he Nev. he actually tried to insight (sp) him with aggression.
Since when did teaching a bully a lesson by trying to bully and belittle him actually become worthy of credit?
Mersey, are you calling NP a bully?
Nope TB. I'm highlighting the hypocrisy of Nev's views on that incident.
It feels like I've entered a wormhole and arrived back in 2015. Which means we'll win the title again next year. I just hope the election result is different this time...
Leicester did the impossible, the election result changing is pure fantasy.
I am a big fan of Pearson's work at our club, but the man's behaviour later in his tenure was bewildering.
Pat Murphy's tête-à-tête with him was well-articulated, non-confrontational but entirely justified. NP was becoming increasingly paranoid and aloof, and he deserved to be taken to task. For what it's worth, I think it had an influence on his behaviour for the rest of the season.
None of this detracts from what he did for us. It's a shame his demeanour in his last few months with us overshadows his incredible achievements.
Pressure does wonderful things.
For what it's worth Nev, I thought Murphy came over as a pompous, self-serving prat in that interview, completely full of his own importance in bringing the odious Pearson to book. For one of the better journos out there, he did not do himself any favours for me.
Why you would want Stowell to go and further break up our league winning backroom staff is totally beyond me. Can you point out what he has done wrong?
Guys its all about opinons i just know a bit more of the background and he was sent as the senior reporter in the midlands after the third BBC radio Leicester was give a hard time by NP and offered the opertunity to try the same on him.
Which Nigel smartly declined.
A second rate goal keeping coach and shouter in chief has had not role in our success in my opinion for as every keeps saying for what its worth.
Love Nev's fantasy world!
