Aww. You guys are missing out from all the mega transfer fun?

You're no better than us for your money mate

If that makes you happy, then good.

Nasri will go too
City's turnover was £392m last year.
If your club made that much money would you:-
A) Happy that your club tightens its belt but gives its directors huge bonuses.
B) Be delighted that the owners will be re-investing it all back into the club.
City's turnover was £392m last year.

Not much considering your wage bill and transfer spending
We used it to pay decent wages and buy new players.
We also had some left over as profit.
Terrible, terrible club.
City in advance talks to sign benefica goalie Ederson for £45 million- sky sources.
Yes, their spending may be a tad obscene but they get their business done sharpishly.
If Pep doesn't win the league or Champion's League this season, he'll get sacked. This is the season Pep (the lil bíítch) gets found out. Mark my words, i am the football Nostradamus
Pep is such a fraud The City squad he took over was already the best in the league before he made any signings.

No it wasn't; the team had glaring flaws--Fernandinho is their only decent non-attacking mid. The defense was a shambles (facking Clichy still there with old Sagna). They have the best attack, though.
He had Fernandinho and Yaya in CM. Sagna was still solid, about 100m worth of CB's. Pep needs a first XI much better than anyone else to play how he wants to, same at Barca and Bayern.
Even if they had flaws the squad was still better than the other top teams.
Almost £80 mil spent already by city plus if they are getting Walker then he won't be cheap as they are dealing with spurs.
Pep is a gold digger and a cheque-book manager.

Yet we always end transfer windows with most of the reported transfer fund still in the bank account. Does Wenger not realise that top footballers are the only thing that seems to go up faster than house prices?

Surely those figures can't be right?? That's got to be a blatant FFP violation if they spend big this summer. Wage bills and transfer fees alone are a huge chunk of that turnover, don't see that they could have enough money to actually run the club, in the black, without some dodgy kick in from the sheikh's wallet.
Aren't they sponsored by their owners company or something?

Do fans not realise that a player's price tag these days is a reflection of nothing more than the hype his agent has made and has little to do with actual talent.
Similar to London house prices, young top flight youngsters are now equivalent to paying top whack luxury pricing for just the most basic bog standard rubbish you wouldn't make your dog live in.
A club and agent say 50million and football goes mad for the player as the next... I can honestly say I've got no issue with not buying these stupid priced kids. Prefer AWs approach of buying 10 not so hyped kids for the same money. I back him to produce at least one star from the ten, say 3 or 4 dross, couple first teamers and couple squad. Over time we get one star plus extras and all go for profit if sold. A better return.

Yeah something like that. They basically just make up their sponsorship amount each season according to how much money they want to spend. I'm thinking someone made a booboo somewhere though because only 392 turnover, I'm pretty sure doesn't leave enough money to pay for the club once you take out player wages and transfer fees. But then I suppose it could be because the paid/pay pennies for the stadium they play in. Something don't add up though
If will just make it funnier if they flop next season

They spent £170m last season without selling anyone.
This season they are getting rid of about 10 players, so the quarter of a billion may be a conservative estimation
Manchester United will no doubt go head to head with them as well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We also got 40 million pounds back from UEFA for complying with ffp so add that to the pot.

Allow me to clarify:-
We 'swapped' Maine Road for the Etihad and have paid in the region of £120m to upgrade it from an athletics venue.
Our main sponsor is an international airline, the stadium naming rights earn us about £15m a year and the shirt deal roughly about £20m - Lower than any other of the 'Top 6' clubs and about half what United receive from DHL just to sponsor their training kit.
Last season, we were the highest TV earners in the World because of getting to the CL Semis, the LC Final and the fact we were joint most televised club in the PL.
I believe our biggest sponsor was Nissan Motors who as far as I know, are not owned Sheikh Mansour or his family.
We did not have the highest wage bill in the country, neither were we the biggest spenders.
Hope that helps.
