I know players can be signed before the transfer window opens, but it's still May. Far too early to be worrying about this.
It's not just that the window isn't open yet, the freaking season hasn't even finished yet.
I love how everyone expects transfers to be done by the end of May these days.
The season has just finished ffs. Get a grip.
It's gonna be difficult for us to get our top targets anyhow, as it always is. In England alone were have three clubs with a lot of money who players will prefer to sign for in Chelsea, City and United. Then there is Spurs who like us have CL as well but also London. After that you have Arsenal who are in London and although out of the CL some players may think of it as less of risk on top of that.
Have some patience.

Wouldn't worry about not signing anyone yet though. Only City and Bournemouth have made notable signings.

Klopp won the German league back to back (including a double) and got to the final of the CL with a team whose average age was 23 (assume it'll have been 24 for the CL campaign).

The manager and staff are all human and get to take holidays
Football sucks when there is no actual football on

Klopp said a couple of weeks ago that the club have already approached all the players they want to sign this summer
Should be interesting to see what happens without Ian Ayre at the helm

No wonder. They were relegated again.
Gossip I know, but VVD has said that he would like to join Liverpool.
Last summer showed how much Klopp wants business done early as he has said multiple times he wants all his squad there on the first day of pre season.
Obviously this is the ideal scenario and won't always happen but if we want a player and he wants to come I'd expect the signing to be made before preseason starts.
I feel even with Klopp and CL the attraction of the very best players is ging to be incredibly hard to get. London is a big pull and i reckon it probably to big at the mo esp with 2 London clubs in the Cl and City (oudles and oudles of money) also in there.
