Happy with this, We need more pace up front and he's a decent player, and I haven't seen him at Roma!

I've seen him quite a lot he had an outstanding season, he is almost simular to Mane.

Paul Joyce saying we've agreed wages with him and now it's simply sorting the fee with Roma. £90,000 a week apparently.

I think if we go 32mil there is a good chance to get him.

I don't want Salah or the Ox for any price... we have one summer to really try and compete otherwise we'll never get anywhere near the title. These two are bang average at best

I think Salah and Ox are world class I would pay up to 89mill for either of them.

I wonder if Mane could feature more centrally next season?

They want 35-40m for him, we should stick to 28m and add clauses up to 34m being scoring 50 goals and winning the prem etc.

I can't believe there are people not wanting Salah! He is rapid quick. Has a great left foot. Works hard for the team. Not only is he a winger that can play along the front three (drifts into a false 9 position) he is a great fox in the box player that the ball falls to and follows up shots and rebounds of the post. That type of player we haven't really had since Suarez. Look at his stats for Roma great return! Yeah it's a risk like any buy. However is previous experience in the Prem and England will be useful. Wanting to prove himself this time around. Under Klopp I have no worries about him. He will be aloud to use his pace like Mane does all day long!

Not seen him at Roma at all but not surprised he's been ripping it up. Whilst he's not WC and probably never will be he'd still be a great addition

type of player we need, pace take on his man, actually presses well for roma and works hard too and looks stronger then i remember him being for Basel really holds the ball up well and fends off guys twice his size a lot of the time. Not afraid on the ball wants it runs at defenders. Im not saying what we should pay but we should stick to our guns on every transfer and use every trick in the book with clauses etc.

Im actually quite relaxed about our transfers under Klopp, hes not let us down yet has he? Problem was the squad got a bit thin last season but at the same time i'd rather be using the youth then spending millions of squad players for the short term who more then likely won't do any better then TAA Woodburn etc did.

Have to say I'm less keen on Ox, simply due to injury record and the high cost of buying English players. As you've said, we need a number of positions!

I'm keen on Ox if he's to play in central midfield, he really impressed me playing there for Arsenal this season, was often their best player when playing there.

Salah would be a good signing, but will take time to adapt back to life in the Premier League. Done well with Roma and has a fair amount of pace and ball ability. Quite a similar player to Mané really, he will look to run beyond defenders which is what Liverpool need. He's a good winger, but he needs time to re-adapt into the Premier League, as it is much different to Serie A in terms of the pace of the game.

Also, regarding his Chelsea days, he never really got the chance there. Look at de Bryune for example, he was a bit part player at Chelsea, moved to Wolfsburg and is now the most potent attacking midfielder in the Premier League.

I am sure some Chelsea fans will wum you if you sign him, but truth is he never really got much of a chance with us at Chelsea. For whatever reason, Jose did not fancy him.

He is only 24 and what he did last season at Roma is much more relevant than what he did in a few appearances for Chelsea at the age of 21.

I have no view if he will succeed in the PL, but given the season he has just had in Italy and given that he is only 24 years old, in today's market, I would say getting him for £35m or less would be a good price.

Salah stats are awesome actually 15 goals and 11 assists is more than Mane i think. Think about the impact Mane has had and now think about Mane AND Salah!!!

I wanted us to sign him from Basle after watching him tear arsenal??or was it cfc to pieces?? superb talent imo and exactly the quality to take us forward.

Dont mind the ox either but more of acsquad filler imo. but he does have quality anx i thinkmunder klopp would flourish.

Our bench COULD be something like:

Ox..Salah..Studge..Ings..Can..Karius..TAA..

Lot stronger eh

Yeah he's had a good season, he may not be the biggest name but he will fit us better than a lot of other players out there.

I'm not a fan but hopefully he can produce similar numbers to those in Italy.
