Or so you hope
It's 4 months. You won't be able to heal and get back to match fitness in 8 weeks. Takes 8 weeks to heal. Then slowly start walking again.
Terrible news,
Six months at the very least for a full recovery imo.
The likelihood is this will effect the whole of his next season to some degree.
Cannot see any potential transfer opportunities becoming realistic due his injury.
Thankfully at Cfc we do have one of the best medical facilities in the game to support the player.
But it will depend on the player and his ability recover and the seriousness of the injury.
All in all its not good news.
Maybe he'll stop talking about Real Madrid now
Sheriff,
Im sure your more than aware of the saying, be careful of what you wish for.
A serious injury to any player gives you zero guarantee that the player will return to his previous ability.
Thats not doom mongering , Just a real possibility.

Not all ankle fractures are the same so given no additional information is known/provided, it's all speculation at this point. To add to this speculation, given that mechanism was twisting his ankle, the likeliest injury is a lateral malleolar fracture (inversion of the foot occurs more frequently than eversion). If stable and without ligament damage/injury, he could heal without surgical intervention, at best 6-8 weeks. Would be weight bearing as tolerated before then. This is the best case scenario though. Beeb says he will undergo surgery but then don't cite any sources
soccer?lol.
Well, looks like it's not the best case. Hazard had surgery. Out until September.
soccer?lol.
I fractured my ankle in 2010 and was fit for active service within 8 weeks. Also wasn't Ashley Cole out for only about 6 weeks when he fractured his in 09? Sorry to ruin your argument Feyenoord!
cole was out for 12 weeks

Tibia that was...different injury
Looks like we're in for a tough season next year. Injuries will mount up.
Think we definitely need to strengthen with around 6 more players.
Other clubs looking to their business early, Liverpool and City.
We definitely need another winger now that Hazard is out as well as a striker.
We need back ups or better alternatives to both our wing backs.
A midfielder to play alongside Kante.
A CB, was hoping we'd get Van Djik but he's off to Liverpool.
And a backup keeper which should be last on the priorities
