I was on a jury once.
That says it all.
Interesting when asked if he had any regrets the weasel Whyte didn't answer just saying he's glad with the outcome.
Absolute vermin . No shame or sympathy for the job losses. The taxes not being paid etc .
That's the mark of the man that many are lauding . Says a lot

Seems Findlay was right to not bother calling any defence witnesses after all. And you questioned him as well. Tut tut.
you think it's funny that he bumped the taxman to sink the company and folk lost jobs ?
Stay classy
And I never questioned Findlay. I questioned your assumption . Again tho, you don't read what's written cos your too busy mashing the keyboard
Are you sure?
'I'm just not sure not calling any credible witnesses to defend you can be seen asa good thing the way some suggest'
And I'm not laughing at that-I'm laughing at your reaction! I take it you want HMRC to win the appeal then in the big tax case?? After all, can't have people not paying the correct level of tax, can we?
And another questioning his judgement:
I'm dealing with the fact that it would worry me if my defence didn't call any witnesses to defend me

That's not me questioning Findlay tho, that's me questioning you and the other posters who "assumed" it was a good thing
Cheers for backing up my point
<whoops>
"I'm dealing with the fact that it would worry me if my defence didn't call any witnesses to defend me"
That is a fact. Based on me. I'm not sure your point ?
I'm guessing your busy at work and jumping on and off 606 given your shambles posting today
Wiggle all you want-but that's you questioning whether Findlay made the right choice or not.
Seems it was. Why waste more of the jurors time? 31 days, 17 witnesses-all for the prosecution.

Nah-I'm finished for the day. Knowing IE could self combust at any time over this has made this day a bit more bearable. He'll reply with some smilies and how he's not bothered-but it's clear he is. Using stuff like he cheated the tax man is just riddled with irony, and completely laughable.

Run along ya plum.
You have no affect on my day but it's nice knowing I noise you up that much that my mood dictates if your days bearable
Oh and I've never cheated the taxman so your last wee bit about irony is indeed ironic
He got one part right anyway IE - you do love the smilies!
That wee bit about my mood affecting pov's day is poetic. Bring a tear to a glass eye
Suppose I should be touched that he thinks of me so
