Also, if the pcb can use it for 5 ODIs and 3 T20’s why not for test matches – On what basis have they given ODIs priority over the tests?!!

They want it but forget who has to pay for it. Swann and Ajmal will be disapointed.

I think that it's pretty pathetic! Either implement it properly & use it in every series or not at all.

What's the problem?

Agree 100% with the OP.

DRS with all its bells and whistles for all tests

Agreed. Also, i don't imagine it being too hard to find a sponsor for it. Sony now owns hawkeye, so why not ask them to sponsor it?

Icc leave it to the home boards to decide, but then say its mandatory..... need to make up their minds!!

I was just wondering how does icc earn money? cause if Im not wrong the home series money goes to the board?

I suspect mainly through icc tournements. Is it any wonder we have T20 after every 2/3 years, champions trophy, world cup and so on...... That is how the ICC survives, if im right in thinking they made over £90m profit in 2010.. no doubt more this year after the world cup in india

oh I see. I think they should pay for this drs, as some boards like bangladesh might not be able to afford it. And also considering no home games at pakistan they would also be restricted to use lots of money on this technology.
