Conte or Costa ?

No brainer, Conte all day long. That unnecessary bollox in January that could have disrupted us badly, made up my mind for me.

Thanks for the titles Costa, but it's time for us all to move on.

Too many games this season Costa just didn't show up. Hasn't really shown any loyalty to the club (pretty much talked about a move away every transfer window) so I'd be happy to see him go, to be honest.

Conte all day. Costa is not the be all and end all, just profited from playing in two great teams.

Costa has been on verge of leaving almost since he signed.

Now he (supposedly) is told he no longer wanted he wants to moan about it.

The boy who cried wolf comes to mind.

No contest. Costa's been wanting out since we brought him to Chelsea. I'm glad the club are granting him his wish, he'll soon realise that the grass isn't greener wherever he ends up.

It looks like Conte couldn't wait to get shot off him. You could well imagine how difficult is to manage a player like Costa. I don't think Costa really settled well in England, didn't even bother learning the language. You could tell by his body language that he was unhappy and as a result his form tailed off. Such a pity because when he is in the mood he is unplayable.

I feel that replacing him with Lukaku would be a downgrade. Though, I hope he proves me wrong.

What about Lukaku and Morata??

Depending on how much we can get for Costa of course.

The player is more trouble than he's worth, on his day he's brilliant at what he does but from what I've seen he can turn it on and off depending on his mood.

Shouldn't be too much of a loss and can be replaced, not sure Lukaku is that one though.

If I was a Chelsea supporter I wouldn't be at all concerned about him leaving, probably quite happy really.

Hazard, he would be a concern.

I would take Lukaku,if we could get Morata as well.
I'm certain they would complement each other ,lets hope.
I am also sure that the board could come up with the money , they've not done too badly in the market in recent times.

I love costa but most of this season he didn't want to be here and all of the season before. He is a great player and has a great mentality but his overall attitude is bad for the club and chelsea clearly cannot trust him any further.

They're all ears in Liverpool ,can you imagine !.

Lukaku is exactly the same, but he has a love for Chelsea so I can't see him acting up.

Sorry fellow blues but i actually think the player has done this to ensure the club aren't able to be tough in the fee we try to charge for him.

Omg what a revolutionary thought flash

Has he though really? The club that sold him? Lukaku is the same as anyone else, if he plays, is paid as much as he wants and wins things then he'll stay. If Chelsea don't provide all this then he'll be unhappy and no doubt want to leave.

Players with the odd exception (Terry, Gerrard etc) aint like fans and have little emotional connection to the club that pays their wages.

Costa, I'd imagine, has been tapped up by another club and offered more cash and that's why he wants to go - simple as that.

Whilst I would be sad to see Costa go I've no doubt Conte would find a suitable replacement.

Costa doesnt want to be here, let him go.

posted on 8/6/17

I have said for long enough, he doesn't and never has felt any connection to the club. And i don't judge him on that.

posted on 8/6/17

He's said before that he doesn't have a problem with the club, it's just that he hasn't settled and is unhappy with the life in England.

Anyway there are reports that it highly doubtful Conte sent him that message. Costa has made up the " text message" thing to speed up his transfer to the new club. Interestingly, his agent met up with A.C. Milan new owners just before the CL and will meet again this week to discuss Costa's transfer to A.C. Milan this summer.

Obviously A.C. Milan new owners have offered more wages but don't want to pay Chelsea's asking price. Hence Costa doing anything he can to weaken our negotiation position.

Don't mind if he goes, just replace him with Mbappe and everything will be good
