I think you'd be mad not to sell him. Rooney was a fantastic talent. I don't see lukaku getting any better than he is, he's got a good goal to game ratio but how has that really helped everton? You've always finished around 7th, with or without him. He hasn't propelled your club to anything.

Don't get me wrong, I wish we were in the position to be able to add real quality to the squad without having to sell Lukaku,but we ain't and Lukaku wants out, so its best for all parties that he is sold.

What do you actually think of him? I don't really rate him at all? Think he is one of those strikers who aslong as he scores does not care bout much else or go out of his way to improve his game.

He blows hot and cold, one minute he can be brilliant and the next he can be anonymous. I don't think he's totally at fault, the service he requires is not always there. The likes of Suarez and Sanchez can make a goal out of nothing, it's rare Lukaku makes his own goals. Saying that, Chelsea are a far better team, I can see Lukaku banging 30+ goals a season for them

With him not being on the kit launch images its clear he is going. Would take the biggest sum we can for him and reinvest into a deeper squad.

Thats my view, why be reliant on Rom when we could bring in two strikers that could possible give us 40 goals a season?

We need to replace his goals. £80m is a great deal for us imo, as long as we get a goal scorer in.
£50m + Costa makes more sense to me

I wouldn't try and replace like for like, we relied too heavily on Rom and if he'd of had a long term injury that would of been that!

We need to replace him with more attacking options up front, dare I say it, a bit more attacking style like Liverpool, at least if we did lose someone long term, we've still got that threat up front.

Now, goes without saying we'd need to strengthen up at the back, but we need to do this anyway as both 'keepers are as bad as each other, Jags is finished, Williams never really worked out, their combined age must be about 66 and showing the pace of a 66yr old!

We also need to look for a long term replacement for Baines.

Midfield I'm quite happy with, though I think we'll need to offload Besic, too injury prone.

Youth, we seem to have some gooduns coming through, doing well with the England U20's and Kenny is really impressing, think he'll break into that first team on a regular basis next season, not to mention our Premier League 2 title win

He is a cracking player. Would love him and the energy he would add to midfield along with his quality.
