Gerry Payton the GK coach?
He needed binning a while ago.
True but unfortunately he is still at the club as far as I know. Apparently he is the reason Fabianski wasn't keen on staying.
Arsenal appointing a new fitness coach. And? What is the fuss about it?
Well maybe, just maybe we will finally be ready for Leicester game and the opening of the season.
Plus, we might also stop having that horrendous drop in form in February/March

What the fack?
What an odd and defensive comment GT?
Considering fitness is one of the biggest issues at the club, a change of staff could prove quite pivotal.
Not as much as getting a decent striker but close.

Our season not depending on fitness. It depends on having the players in we want to add early.

Nonsense
There are always changes in staff in any company. When Forsythe was appointed it was supposed to signal a big change.
Are you really serious GT?
So how can you explain the same players have a drop in form every feckin season at exactly the same time for them to pick up again in April?
And this is not new. It has been going on for decade
wow didn't expect this, i actually speak to Darren on a weekly basis. Good on him.

Man we won the FA Cup because we had the better physis in the semis against City and against Chelsea.
Last year we had the problem that we hadnt our first team together when the season started. We werent prepared. Simple. Then we had serious injuries to important players the last few seasons. Our drop in form came when we had defensive issues, attidute and committment problems.
That all doesnt mean we shouldnt change our fitness coach. But our season doesnt depend on who is our fitness guru.

Well, this is the point of a fitness Guru. To get you ready from the start.
Oh.. and injuries can also be due (not all of them) to lack of fitness.
I'm not saying he will turn us into a title contender but surely changes are needed in the backroom staffs.
Apparently one of his famous quote is "Fitness can't win you title but it can los you one".
Although not sure that is from him, seems a bit "too smart" to be coming from a fitness coach
none of these are a no.2 nor are they the calibre needed for a director of football so what's changed?
Well if what it is reported in The telegraph is true, then Maybe Fahmy might put an end to our players running out their contracts.
Also he seems to be an expert on exploiting image right so maybe we will to increase their wages knowing we wil recoup the money.
As for the fitness coach, look at the team who finished above us. Their players all look sharper and fitter than ours.
Surely if you're gonna get anyone from Team Sky it should be their drugs guy?

But none of that is a material change. The reason we have in the past messed up on transfers, Higuain/Suarez as an example, is because of Wenegr's dithering. Since there is no director of football that stays the same. Contracts are again a purview of the board. The board allows players to run down contracts so they don't have to negate lower wages for too many years. That hasn't changed either. A fitness coach? We have been changing fitness coaches for years. We needed new no.2 and first team coaches to change training, tactics, tackling etc methods. So nothing has changed.
