tough one that errrrrrr henry
Terrible article, but Henry.
Do people forget the Shearer who was lightening fast before he did his knee?
I'd pick Shearer to be honest, for United at this moment in time.

I imagine you would - you already have at least two of the "new Henry" at your club.

That's a tough one. Shearer in the mid-90s was probably just as good as Henry at his peak, if a little less easy on the eye and less of an all-round talent.
Very difficult to choose between them, both brilliant players

Henry, Shearer was crap.

This
Henry scored and created goals with ease. Shearer only scored them.
Talk about a "No contest." Another example of overstating the ability of an Englishman. Shearer was a great striker no doubt. Thing is Henry was a great striker AND a majestic footballer. Shearer impressed a nation, Henry ruled the world.
That said though, which to pick for a dream team or our teams now if we could. Depends on the team you support and the dream team you'd pick moreso than who is the better player. Shearer's ideal team looks poles apart from Henry's.

Nicely timed to demonstrate Edin. The greatest Spurs team would have been brilliant for Shearer, as the greatest Arsenal team for Henry. Not so sure it works for them swapped though.
** I know Henry could slot into today's Spurs team successfully but I'm not considering that your best ever team. They've just had the recent success. Not sure what your verdict is on that though.
Henry by a mile but Sheared was also outstanding at his best.
