even if he does go i think it would be a prime time to sell him while his stock is high.
replacing him would be the tricky part.
I remember after the astana home game where we got a last min penalty, the effort he put in to win the ball, play it to griffiths and then overlap.
impressed me then, after that he just took off.
So pleased we signed the wrang one
The boy is going nowhere
Another good season, stay fit, score plenty of goals both in league and CL.
Sign new improved deal in January with buy out clause then potentially move on next summer for decent money
This summer we will just have to make do with making more money from Southampton selling a player than a megastore on the south side selling jerseys
He's already the highest paid player at Celtic.
southampton have lined our pockets in recent years.
even this year, if they sell dijk we will get about 5-6 million off them
I'd be amazed if he was on more than Brown, he'll likely be over £20K a week but doubt he'd be on more than the £32K Brown gets.
Sinclair must be around the £30K mark too surely.
NNH...tis true.
Nearing £40kpwk
Sinclair's on more than Brown too

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Jos Hooveid £1.5M
Forster £10M
Wanyama £12.5M
Van Dijk £11.5M
Over £35M from Southampton
Plus possibly another £6M for VVD
did we not get more for dijk than we did for wanyama?
wonder if vic had a sell on clause

Great video of all his goals. A class act!
Wanyama was only £11M but VVD was £12.5 and obviously with a further 6 or 7 million to come that will be over £40M from them in 5 years
5 goals and 2 assists in 5 and a bit OF games as well
The turn then run and blast into the top corner v alloa in the cup was sensational. Double meg back heel, hat trick v Gers, almost broke the net at ibrox, over head kick against man city. OUTSTANDING
think Borini is signing for AC Milan
Hey never mind all that.
He got wan at DINGWALL boooooooom

he's a top talent isn't he, you can see what he offers.
scottish football will damage his international prospects at this stage but he's still young.
I took they figures off a Celtic website when I searched for their fees
Probably as trustworthy as the fee for Simunovic
Apart from the OF games, I thought his two best performances were against Man City at home and ICT away, the midweek game. He was flucking outstanding both nights, I've not seen a more complete strikers performance from a Celtic striker like that for years.
Probably Bellamy's against Dundee United, I'm not sorry Ivan.
Probably as trustworthy as the fee for Simunovic
Tell you what, no one would batter an eyelid if we had paid £6 million for him, he's been a terrific buy.
he looked in the mood first 30 mins of the semi v Rangers n him going off probably made the scoreline more respectable
i'm glad we got simunovic for 3 million, much better deal.
we never paid 5 or 6 for him, we wouldnt pay that for a striker ffs
