REALLY close to signing Lacazette

I wouldn't want any player to have the touch of Rosicky. Means years of injury and unfulfilled talent.

Not that touch!

The other touch.

The good one.

I'm not sure if he's like Rosicky, he has more of an end product and incision in the final third. A bit more power aswell.

Lemar would be a natural successor to Ozil. Left footed player who can play wide or deeper behind the striker. I know some have compared him to Alexis but I don't see the equivalent dribbling skills.

He's really nothing like Alexis, don't see where that comparison came from. He's definitely a creator type, but with a bit more power than Ozil.

Which has been the greatest accusation against Ozil. Lack of power and physicality to play in the premier league.

Exactly. Wenger has identified a replacement at least.

Although I think Ozil will stay, nobody seems to want the poor bloke.

Arsenal close to completing Lacazette deal. Final fee almost agreed & he'll then have medical & finalise terms to become #AFC record signing

#AFC made Sanchez big offer, hope he stays. But if set on leaving + fee acceptable possible he'll go this summer rather than free next #MCFC

I am not sure about that. Sometimes little is said till the very end of a move. Often an agent creates noise in an attempt to negotiate more money for a contract a player intends to sign. Like you see with Alexis. If you think about it Ozil is in exactly the same position as Alexis regarding his contract. Ozil hasn't signed his contract either. But his agent is not linking him to a lot of clubs to boost his profile for more money so does he intend to leave whatever?

In fairness to Wenger, if we spend the same amount on Lacazette as we'd get back for Alexis, you can understand the temptation to sell him.

Would need to make at least two big signings following on from Laca though.

Lemar + top CB/powerhouse midfielder please.

I don't think the fanbase will accept any less than Mbappe if Alexis was sold.

The oracle has spoken again.

Lacazette is almost done. Sanchez? No one knows.

Just force alexis to stay. He'll want to play football above all else, dunno what the club are playing at.

Kroenke sold RVP. And offers for him were for less money. So I can't see the club keeping Alexis if he doesn't sign on.

posted on 1/7/17

Doesn't matter who we sign if Alexis is sold
