Great read Darn. Seems down the years the owners have not pushed on when it was there in front of them that good the good managers they had just needed that little extra.
Wagner is the best manager I have seen, as Buxton was there when I started watching Town. Since Buxton we've had a succession of run of the mill managers, but Wagner is so much different.
Wagner is clearly the current star of the show
A young dynamic team with spirit & a lot of skill.. Maybe a couple more today? Who knows... If teams like Stoke & WBA think they have banked points against us.... They might get a surprise..
No might about it wethers!
West brom got destroyed by derby in the fa cup last season...a lot said about the premier league is a Myth...Town and wagbo will prove this this season...take away the top 7 and the rest are no better than the top 8 of the championship!
All the teams coming down from the premier now struggle in the championship which emphasises my thoughts

Just read a great stat-
293 - Steve Mounie won 293 aerials in L1 2016/17, best tally in a single Ligue 1 season since 2006/07.
Good Morning chaps
Just seen that Mounie has signed,
It's getting better & better.
I'd like to see Malone put pen to paper today too.I've never known such exciting times as these.
I agree fellas, We literally have nothing to fear..
The best odds I could see today...
TOWN to be Champions
2,500 to 1,
Paddypower, & 188Bet !
#nothing to fear = #nolimits
It looks like the Belgium lad is a plan B or back up. Great read a Darn.
Just watched the Mounie highlights. We need to put decent balls in the box by the looks of things.
Hopefully we can start scoring from corners too. Bring on Malone now, that lad can cross a ball.
I always put decent balls into the box
Leeds fans moaning about parachute payments now
I would have been too.... Up to 6 weeks ago!
Malone puts in the pin point cross, (tick)
Mounie wins the header-flicks onto...(tick)
Wells, BANG ! Back of the net..(tick)
Reminiscent of Bradford city, Wells/Hanson partnership, beating the premier league sides in the cup comps a few seasons ago,
It's all coming together.
It's looking like two players per position now.
Spoke to my dad before,do you think we could go old school and play 442 with Wells and mounie upfront? Or no changes at all,in style.
Fierce internal competition for 1st team selection now Hydy
Just as it should be.
And some good hungry/greedy (take your pick) players with high ambition wanting to show what they can do.
Tactics , I'm expecting continual rotation, Bizarre combinations, All out assaults v Teams he thinks we can Blitz, & Block defense-'defend the Alamo' v The Mega teams.
I'm dreaming of being £125,000 to the good come for my £50 outlay next May,
Jorgensen (FC Copenhagen)
Anyone know much about him ?
Central defender apparently, Examiner claims he could be signed up TODAY
Sky changed 3 games, Newcastle now on Sunday 1.30, West Ham Monday 8.pm, Spurs 12.30 on 30th September
Jorgensen in the bag
Unreal this Town going all viv nicholson...were going to spend spend spend
Darn n utg will get it
Walt !
30 years ago my Rovers fan mate here in WA was always coming out wi' that gag...
Good job it's EPL & TV brass That Mien Furher is throwing around ... Olive would have gone 'A whiter shade of pale' than he did during the penalties if it had been his own brass
Forgot to mention,
Yeah. ANOTHER good signing.
What about this geezer Walt !.... Hydy too,
You two would be able to show him how it's done eh!

I used to like the Brighton lot, but they are ( in my opinion) running scared of our recruitment, but they are very derogitry about us, they thought we had a relegation spot filled... think again...
From a Burnley suppprter, pretty accurate I think..
Good luck for the coming season.
Already, we'll no doubt see the games between us as must not lose. It looks like you've made some good signings and it will be interesting to see if they can step up to the Prem. If they do you should stop up, not easily, but survive all the same.
One thing you'll notice is how quickly and how accurately the opposition pass the ball, and at speed as well. One slip, as we found out too many times away from home, and they'll score. You'll play very well many times but will lose. When you play Chelsea away, don't make the mistake and try to take the game to them. It's suicidal. You'll be better trying to park the bus, otherwise you'll concede for fun. We let in 3 but it could have been far worse. Other teams who you'll find a bit too good might be WBA away. He's a crafty bujger is Pulis and knows how to get the most out of his side in the Prem.
Other than that, you'll have chances to get a few points away from home. Even at Arsenal who'll insist on making 200 passes around your box when one will do. If they win they'll be posting selfies in the dressing room like it's a massive victory. You win and the boos will ring round the Emirates. Rubbish atmosphere though as the satewards can get a bit draconian as they'll try and make everyone sit.
You'll have to make your ground a fortress like we did, not easy, but it can be done. You'll need a bit of luck but the stats say if you get 11 wins no team has ever been relegated from the Prem. We got 10 at home, 1 away.
When you look at the opposition line-ups you'll see how good the sides are, but I'm sure every player will rise to the occasion.
Easy to say, but if you are hanging onto a lead going into the final fifteen minutes you'll end up retreating to the edge of your box, especially against the big sides. We managed to see out games that way. Only Arsenal robbed us (twice) with dodgy handballs and an offside penalty decision.
As for general refereeing decisions it's not as blatant as you think. Surprisingly we got a penalty at Swansea when Sam Vokes handballed it in their box, but the ref thought it was one of their players. And when we played Man U., Arsenal & Man City they all had a player sent off against us.
Anyway, I think I've covered most things.
Enjoy the season, although there will be some games you definitely won't (4-0 away for us against West Brom).
Good luck, and let's hope we have both survived come May!
...and I'm back! Jeez, I never thought I'd get away from the place. I only looked at the bright lights in the sky. Mrs LV69 is glad to see me back, but she does think I'm acting kinda strange...
This new Town team looks pretty impressive, are noses going to be well and truly placed out of joint? I think Wagner will be rotating the fook out of the squad! We're top four already! Town are the fourth highest team in the Premiership spending big, so far. Nearly £40M, still can't get my head around that sum of money. Mooy circa £10M!
The keeper looks good, a real shot stopper. Zanka could be a bargain. Ince now has his chance to shine. Depoitre looks like another Ronnie Jepson. Malone will tear down the flanks. Mounie could be the striker we have been crying out for. Wells, if he stays, could reinvent himself now he has a number of providers around him. Great to see Palmer back, Brown may sign soon on loan, why not? Every department has been strengthened, I hope it's enough!
The home shirt is sheite!
Got my Aussie Optus Sport subscription, will be watching ALL the Town matches 'live'. I'm all set, as long as those 'greys' leave me alone!
Can't argue with any of that.
That said, I do think we'll be alright.
