So not content with taking the cast off's from the end of the 62, you now want our used sh!te!
Remember what we did with the Chelsea reject
Now all it needs is proper coaching
Good fit. Can't see it though as it would surely mean a £50m fee.
Pfffft.
£50m, he is no John Stones
Ain't City buying him either.
If I were Palace I'd absolutely say £50m if Lukaku is £75m.

Well good job you are not in charge of transfers
He wouldn't be my first choice, I think Giroud and Dzeko are better, but spending north of £20m on a player over 30 is a waste of money. Dembélé looks decent, but even he would be a risk, the SPL is garbage.
The age of the two mentioned is a sticking point. Benteke hardly grafts, but put the running by in and around him.
He showed in an okay palace side he can net.

He was just the wrong fit, he was brilliant for Villa and decent for Palace, and he loves scoring against you.
What do you Everton lads think of Rooneys signing?
Personally I think it's a mistake but interested to see what you guys think.

Nothing wrong with the deal. Koeman can't get this wrong, Rooney has it all that prove and plenty to give the club.

I wouldn't want to go into the new season with just Rooney and Ramírez as our main strikers, I'm hoping (praying) we'll sign a recognised 15+ goal a season striker. I wasn't too fussed when I heard we were interested in Rooney but I'm hoping him coming back to his old stomping ground will reignite his passion for football.
Fair enough lads.
Be interesting to see how he gets on for sure, once upon a time he was sensational, now I think he's past it though and the league is too quick for him.
I think you might have been better going for someone else but perhaps Rooney will recapture some of what made him so great.

Sherringham was never a quick player. It's all about how you see the game and use your experience and how you see play evolving.
Zlatan wasn't that rapid last season, so I would expect Rooney and Koeman to see how his game needs to be altered.
Yeah I get that arouna, but rooneys never been what I could call a clever guy.
I just think his body is done at this level, which isn't a great surprise given he started playing when he was 16.

So you don't think he has a footballing brain?
Oh dear, then it could be the biggest mistake of the summer.
He hasn't been able to adapt for united in the last couple of years when his body started to decline has he?
Some players can and some can't. Players like sheringham and to an extent Gerard did, players like Lampard and Owen did not.
I think Rooney is done, I think this signing will set your squad rebuild back a season, but I could very easily be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.
Gerrard adapt, but Lampard didn't?
One signing sets our squad rebuild back a season???

I don't know why you think Rooney will set us back, if he isn't up to the job Koeman won't play him.

I'm sure someone will know that his contract states he must start every game.
