Cook won the test player of the year.

I see the OP's point. Cook is a player who last year looked in terrible form and had obvious problems.
Now thanks to Gooch and himself, he is in the form of his life.

I just don't see why you have to come on here & say that.. just no need really.

I think that it's pretty pathetic to rate this article 1 star & I know for a fact that yet again it will be an Indian or Pakistani fan jealous because someone has mentioned how good this English player is. (I do realise an Indian fan created this article)

To be honest Neon, i have been trying to make this 606 a better place for a few weeks now but you just keep getting these idiotic posters rating articles 1stars, starting up stupid articles & commenting on decent articles with their tunnel visioned drivel.

You can't start/read an article without Indian & Pakistani fans arguing or someone slating the English teams players etc & it pi$$es me off so i thought that i would speak my mind for a change.

Alistair Cook has had a blinding year and thoroughly deserves his award. I also think he will prove to be a successful ODI captain, in spite of my own reservations upon his appointment. He's off to a good start there.

Two good batsmen and they richly deserve the accolades but I wouldn't look to them as role models either.My frontyard scarecrow has more personality than these two.
