This story has been around for a few days now, and it has a whiff of politics about it. The owners were very close to the old Thai king, who recently died. And now all of a sudden there are questions of corruption and underpayments of tax.

Quite frankly, it's hard to gauge. Could they be tax avoiding, or could new authorities be trying to make a point of what happens when people don't comply with their racket? Corruption could be present on either or both sides of this.

To say its a tangled web would be an under statement,
You certainly can't judge it from an uk euro system,
And its probably about showing allegiance to the new power base,
Either way the amount of money is probably not the problem

Yep, more politics in this than I care to imagine. This could mean 100s of things, but ultimately money talks, so I think they'll be ok.

Thailand is not the #1 country when it comes to ethics.

After what they have achieved at our club and the memories they have helped give us, I really couldn't care less.

This is a worry the owners lost the rights to their business in Thailand a few years ago until it was reversed. If this is another attempt for someone to get their hands on this lucrative business. But it could be nothing and Thorney's right we owe them a lot of gratitude for making our dreams come true.
