About which prediction?
Sissoko has all the attributes btw...!
1. It would not surprise me if this means Barkley is coming. Not the top tier signing many would like, but I would be delighted with him, something a bit different to what we have and opens up our options player-wise and formation-wise.
2. Trippier does not do it for me, although happy to see him with another to compete with. Sissoko? I thought he had a promising game there v Leicester, but I am in the minority. His comments post-season means bridges are burned too. A goner.
Hopefully we sigm another RB

Wouldn't Barkley occupy the same starting position as Alli?

I think Eriksen is a much more realistic comparison to Barkley than Alli is.
He is different to Eriksen still though.
If we go 3421 we play with two #10s. Barkley can also play a more orthodox CM position. Plenty of scope to perm two from three, or indeed get all three in the side together.
Lots of games, great competition
Trippier is just not good enough a replacement for Walker. We have to be in for someone else.
Trippier is a good RB for me
Get some good competition in, though. Danilo, maybe? One of PSG's RBs?
Everyone thought Walker wasn't good enough a couple of years ago.
I think Trippier will be a revalation next year, he'll be fine.

Kyle Walker is one of our most experienced players and will be a big loss for us next season
Trippier is a good player, but is defensively several grades below Walker and his lack of height means he could be targeted with balls to the back post
We need another right back in as cover and to provide a different option
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's only a 2 inch difference between them, that's not exactly a great height difference
Good call with sissoko! He could make a decent enough rwb as cover at the very least as he has pace, physicality and an engine.Delivery is useless but kyle walkers wasn't the best it's more about stretching the pitch and he can do that as well as walker. I think there is no need to panic buy anyone... good business from spurs.
Use the money to buy a forward/striker with a bit of pace (maybe they could play as a FB as well), and a creative midfielder.
Looking for someone to replace Walker now outside of Trippier is unrealistic. Trippier is the best hope we have at this moment and hopefully it shouldn't effect us too much in matches even if he isn't as good. I mean for the doubters out there, it's not like you're expecting him to suddenly become a complete calamity who will cost us each game with stupid errors, is it? Wembley will affect us most if anything.
Does sissoko have the hunger to play rwb ? You have to be super fit to play that role properly. Up and down all game
I'm not sure he has the application
