At his peak Brazilian Ronaldo was immense. Better than Messi or Ronaldo
C Ronaldo / Messi - to hard to separate them
Ronaldo - Amazing
Henry - Great player and won at highest level
Ronaldinho - Amazing ability but a luxury.

Total rubbish.
Peak Torres and Suarez were better.
To judge Ronaldo, you just have to look at the defenders he was up against in his time...and he still dominated them.
Messi & C. Ronaldo have had it easy.
But if we're basing it on pure ability, Ronaldinho trumps all of them.

I'm not sure if you're serious?
Messi/R7 is very debateable but to swing the other way and say Torres and Suarez?!
Torres only once scored 20 league goals in a season. Ronaldo bettered Torres' best ever goal tally as an 18 year old in his first season in Europe!
The only thing Messi & C. Ronaldo have going for them is that they've been doing it at this level for like 7 or 8 years...which is outrageous tbh.
Ronaldhino hands down best to watch. So he wins.

The teams they have played at have enabled that too.
The other players haven't quite had the same level of teammates throughout their careers.

Ronaldo was unfortunate with injuries admittedly, but he came back and was still one of the world's best strikers, but didn't have the dedication to keep fit.

Great player but never reached Messi or CR7 peak in any season.
______________________________
Come on, he managed CR7 and Messi numbers at the tender age of 18. He's the youngest Ballon D'or winner ever (think he was 20).
Plus, he was equally as effective for his country as he was for his club, something CR7 and Messi have never managed to achieve.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you talking about the Dutch league? Wonder what figures Messi and CR7 would pull over there
Fat Ron was a brilliant player no doubt. 2002 world cup he had a brilliant forward lineup with Ronaldinho and Rivaldo. If it was not for injuries he could have possibly reached Messi and CR7 level.
Depends what you say their 'absolute peak' is, their best season? best 90 minutes?
If you put all of them on the pitch at once a their 'peak' and they all played the best 90 minutes of football they'd ever played, I imagine after the match people would be thinking Fat Ron was the best player out there.
*or Ronaldiho
Messi and CR7 are inhuman when considering their longevity at the highest level.

Agree.
If you had a football match with your life at stake and you needed a peak player to win it for you I think R9 would be the one you chose
One on one matches between all of them....Ronaldinho beats everyone.
Messi and it's not even close.

Ronaldo was great but we will never know how good he could have been due to injuries. Cristiano and Messi are better and I'd rather have them than the Brazilian any day of the week.

In a time when defending was actually evident in a game of football.
If we're talking absolute peak, no one comes close to Messi. Who knows, fat Ronaldo may have come close if his devastating, explosive pace wasn't robbed by injuries at a young age. But he didn't attain Messi's level, even if he certainly had the ability. I'd go for C.Ronaldo over Ronaldinho. The extra productivity trumps Ronaldinho's flair and entertainment value. Henry was an amazing player, but he's firmly at the bottom of that quintet.
