He's was doing all the preseason physical checks like other others last week.

Had a weird arm cast thing on though.

Sounds promising!

If we start the season with a fully fit squad then it will make a big difference. Sure we can cope with one or two out, but any more than that gets worrying. You hear all the time players saying retrospectively that they missed pre-season and didn't really catch up for months.

We really could do with Son being okay especially for the CL games if no attacking players are signed.

Dele banned & Lamela out leaves us short for those games and currently relying on Sissoko or Nkoudou to step up.

You can't deny the total absence of transfer activity though. At least that we know of. If we start next season with only one or no reinforcements after selling a few, a couple of injuries could derail us. It's a very Levy esque gamble.
