Tony Yeboah V Liverpool was the best goal ever when I was growing up.
Doesn't really get a mention anymore
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I prefer his goal against Wimbledon that goes in off the crossbar. The power on that shot is a thing of beauty. It's one of the most powerful shots ever recorded.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Liverpool went of the crossbar similarly but he took it in the air. Both great goals
Kinkladze goals were always good

It did but I prefer the look of that Wimbledon goal cause of the power he generated on it.

Good shout
a few against us
Darren huckerby when he danced round half our team in a 3-2 Coventry win
wancohpe when he ran from the halfway line
ruuds goal at old Trafford when again he run from the halfway line beat a few players and completely changed his body shape to slide the ball home
Elmander vs Wolves. Great bit of individual brilliance from an average player:

Yea the way he took it down then went round defender and still got the power was amazing.
Sure he done them a few weeks apart
Jan Molby v Man Utd
The game wasn't on any tv channel so it wasn't seen for a few years until someone found this dodgy video of it. I was at the game and it was the best goal I had seen in a big match at that time

The Irwin goal was against Spurs I believe, kneerash. Either in 92-93 or 93-94.
Zola against Norwich, Bartlett for Charlton (opponent escapes me), Le Tissier v Newcastle
Girouds scorpion kick goal didn't win goal of the season, so it's underrated as far as I'm concerned.

It's not that good a goal, good but if it wasn't live on Sky it wouldn't get so much credit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just reading it
Like I put at the time growing up it was amazing. Literally spend hours trying to do it.
I'd still have it up there tbh. For instance I'd rate that higher than Rooneys
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is the force at which it smacks in off the bar that makes the goal what it is. If it had just nestled in the top corner it wouldn't have been anywhere near as good. Bar involvement really does improve a goal tenfold.
Sasa Curcic vs Chelsea gets ignored because everyone only remembers Kinkladze's effort vs Southampton

Agree about the Kasami goal. Also the RVP strike, the way he elegantly flew in the air to get his knees above the ball and direct the volley. Better than many famed PL goals. Martina's strike against Arsenal was simply incredible. Was stunned coming from such an average player.
Harry Kewell vs Arsenal

Questionable control vs Arsenal but sublime tekkers in the execution of the shot

Le Tissier. Not underrated (think it got goal of the season!) but he could just walk round the pitch sometimes

Always liked Le well. Got 13 goals for us before Christmas and then got septic arthritis of the groin. At 26.
I was a nurse and have never seen that. It's incredibly unlucky especially at that age.
The Kewell goal vs Arsenal nearly made the list
that rod Wallace goal is an absolute disgrace defensively from spurs
I'm putting di canios scissor kick simply because I was discussing this with mates the other night, and only one of them knew what I was talking about. Disgraceful

I don't care if it was a friendly, that is stunning
