Why does Jay seem to want to kill Smurf? Did they ever explain this properly or did he just realise she's to blame for his mum?
Yes but he also says 'i will shoot you' in that motel room

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can't remember this for some reason, explain the scene more?
After they rob the diner/hotel thing they go to a motel and roll around in the money for some reason (little bit incestuously) and she says if she gets into the same mental state as Manny did that J should shoot her
Oh yeah, but in that instance doesn't she want him to kill her?
No the idea was that was to be a mercy killing if she gets dementia
But Jay's response was 'I promise i will shoot you'
Oh right, I think you are reading too much into that probably, but then maybe that makes sense.
I dunno if I missed a bit cos I drifted off in one episode but thought I had rewatched it to cover up. Anyway the ending of season 2 ep 5 is now even more confusing to me lol.
Do you want to watch the film or care about what happens in it?
I dont know if the ending of that will happen in the show but its pretty significant
Nah don't want to watch the film until after the TV show. Hurry up and catch up cos I really want to ask you a question now.
Don't mind if I post a slight spoiler?
Well at the end of what they do in the final episode, Smurf goes into J's room (J is lying in bed) and carries his gun in the room and says 'If you shoot, don't stop shooting' which I didn't understand.
without the context neither do i
I couldn't really work out the context, J did a job with his uncles but that was about it.
no Rick and Morty is my thing now
I thought what was so excellent about Dunkirk was the sense of inevitability and harrowing dread.
When people died etc the fact that it was so normal that people barely reacted, except the civilians in which it would have had more of an impact.
Only things that I thought was a bit hmmm was killing off the little boy who got pushed by Cillian Murphy, he could have easily remained paralysed or blind or whatever.
Tom Hardy could have probably landed sooner as well but that wouldn't have been as epic.
Also the logic between a bloke being chucked off the boat for bouyancy was flawed; that could work though due to irrational emotion in the heat of the moment.
