Take away an in form mahrez and we look mid table premier league at best,,
We need an attacking midfielder and one with some class ,
Hopefully the young lad from man city will provide some attacking options,

Dublin - our counter attacking style relies on pace, fitness and intensity. Two of those don't really exist in pre-season and it shows in our chance creation, or lack of it.
Also, Shakey is trying out different things and that naturally results in a bit of confusion initially as everything doesn't come naturally.
This is a much preferable pre season to last. Players working hard and getting their fitness up. With a couple of shrewd additions we should be targeting top 10 and a potential top 6 push. But so will many other clubs.
The premiership is never easy, but we still have a decent squad even without Mahrez, who actually looks more like staying as every day goes by. Roma are having a laugh, and I'm pleased our owners are laughing back at them!
