You really think we can go out and buy who we want? We play in Scotland and have limited funds.

this "wait till august" schite irks me, it tells me we don't know who we want we are just seeing who we can get because their club doesnt want them

You really think we can go out and buy who we want? We play in Scotland and have limited funds. There will be players we want who will be waiting to see what other options there are for them. There will be other players we want who don't want to play for us.
It's extremely difficult to attract good players, and they have to be within our budget in terms of transfer costs and wage structure.

As you say, there will be players waiting to see if we'll be playing CL football before committing their future to us.
It would be but there's still plenty left in the tie
We never ever do it the easy way, we never will do it the easy way sadly.
Last night was disappointing but by no means a disaster.

cool, we'll see.
not a peep out of you if we go out right?
we were fine in your eyes.
Aye Lustig was honking anawl. They were clearly playing for set pieces too and we kept persistently fouling, needlessly at points, to give them the opportunity.
Any team with a bit of quality up front last night would have won the game 2-0 no bother

Everything was fine 2 weeks ago when you said you were happy with our dealings.
One ok result and all of a sudden it's back to square one and we're doomed.

My only problem with the board this summer has been the Roberts saga, either come out and tell us we have made a bid but City want silly money or at least try for another loan deal.
We should have done everything to get him back and I'm not sure we will have done that.
Absolutely no other criticisms of our business so far though, Ntcham looks a good signing and Hayes has actually showed up well when he has come on.
i felt for lustig tbh, he was on his own and was the only one in space looking for the ball.
just a shame that when he got it in space there was nobody to cross it to
Gonnae be a nervy/sickening one next Weds man. Prepare yourselves
If we go out I'll be bitterly disappointed, obviously a few factors have hindered us if Griff doesn't make it but these things happen.
Losing two strikers at the exact same time would hamper any team, never mind us.
I had sympathy at times for Lustig but at other times all he did was pass it backwards when the ball was on inside

Nobody has said we were fine.
We played crap for one game, with no striker or shape for 60mins. Had our best CB out too. Also lost arguably our star player in Roberts too.
But we are still very much in the tie having not conceded an away goal.
Can just imagine you walking about today with your own wee rain cloud above your head
I'll be annoyed and disappointed at missing out if we don't do it next week.
BR will have identified players who may or may not be available come August. Better to wait if they are his first choices than to lower our sights just because we are in a hurry. We've waste too much money on dross over the years. BR is doing it properly.
but we don't have a third is the point why?
both of them got injured last year and there were numerous games we had to play with no striker.
why not go get someone as a third choice.
know who we need?
Moult
We were all over the shop at the back last 20 mins. Pure panic stations.
RnR, yup, thankfully it's not at the start of my holiday in case we do go out and it flooking kills me
Regarding Roberts.. I got the impression he wasn't keen on coming back from his interviews at the end of last season.
A draw was fair last night but Rosenberg missed two absolute sitters and the few chances we had were half chances.
We were toothless with no shape middle to front - never seen Sinclair play worse but still more effective than Forrest ffs. it might push the board that extra mile for Roberts or similar. Things were so bad that those around me were shouting for mcgregor to come on and I found myself agreeing !

wit?
who may or may not become available?
ffs
Btw, did anyone notice how bad Bendtner has become
He used to be a decent player to an extent but I genuinely thought I was watching someone who had just come out the pub.

I'd be all for swapping Moult and Ciftci and giving Motherwell £300K into the bargain. He's never going to play when the other 2 are fit but it's a no brainer of a swap for us
