Yeah, I wouldn't go back to France again sorry father Wenger.

Wenger’s not really French anyway.

Ajax melted down their league trophy and turned it into stars to give to all their season ticket holders, what a club.

That’s class.

The Cordoba mosque is pretty impressive.

The important thing about visiting Cordoba is going at the right time of year. Summer is unbearably hot, and winter is facking freezing. Late spring's probably the best time, 'round about now more or less.

I'd still rank it behind Seville and Granada though.

I guess the thing with it is that whilst there’s ‘better’ cities in Spain, there are few with the same historic importance as Cordoba, which is what I find appealing. With those other two fairly nearby I’ll try and go to all three.

I’ve only ever stopped off in Madrid on connecting flights, but will make an effort to get there at some point. I’ve really neglected Spain on my travels.

So which countries has everybody visited then?

I'm not very well travelled tbh.

Impressive list.

Also, Czechia, just fack off.

I live for sprocle quizzes - won’t get any incorrect countries from me. It’s Eswatini and North Macedonia

You're a lot more travelled than I am but I tend to visit the same places. I've been to Majorca six times, five of which were in Alcudia, Cyprus four times and a couple of visits to mainland Spain.

I'm not hard to please when it comes to holidays really. 30+ degree heat, pool, beach and I'm settled.

Not quite the same, though. The official name is still the Czech Republic. Czechia is just a short form name that nobody uses, apart from priiiiicks like you.

Sporcle quizzes are grate.

I mean, it literally says in that article what I said.

The country will retain its full name but Czechia will become the official short geographic name

I accept your apology.

Yep, good reasons, Daz. History's probably a bit more visible in Granada and Seville, but I guess that's mostly because Cordoba was the centre of Al-Andalus during an earlier period. They're all worth definitely it anyhow. Even if I'm not generally too taken in by temples and palaces, the Alhambra, Seville Cathedral and the Mosque of Cordoba are all quite breathtaking.

About neglecting Spain, I've always thought that as long as I have the means and am still physically able enough, I'd rather see places that are more removed and where travel might be less comfortable. Europe's always on the doorstep, so with a bit of luck I'll still be able to tour it well into my old age.

UK, Portugal, France, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania/Zanzibar, China, HK, Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Canada, U.S., Puerto Rico, St Lucia

Some of those places were just brief visits though. I really would've liked to see a lot more of everything, especially Asia, but kids, aging parents and tight finances have made it increasingly difficult.

I’m not really arguing against it I never really thought anything of it other than the usual Sporcle answer

Fair point about travelling Europe. I’ve always been quite Eurocentric with my travels, but I do regret not making more of an effort to travel further afield.

I will be going to Korea next year for a wedding. I’m going try and get a visa to go into North Korea. It’s meant to be a shiiiiiithole, but I don’t care.

I’m just being a diiiiick about it because I hate the name.

Oh, really? That’s interesting. I’d just like to go there as the very concept of the state is fascinating. Though it’ll be quite difficult due to visas, and I’m not sure if you can get one if you’ve travelled to South Korea.
