It is a bit arbitrary, and the opponents and what rest they may or may not have had should be considered as well, but yeah it is weird how much better his teams are when there’s more rest.
It’s hard to really compare it to anyone else because all the managers that win as many titles as he has have all done well in cup competitions, so there’s not really any data to compare accurately.
Yeah, like you said he's a statistical anomaly. However the fact that his career is defined by needing more rest really doesn't make sense when there is nothing in his style of football that screams out that it needs rest.
Hassenhuttl, for example, I'd understand with his relentless pressing being the only way his teams can play. Conte's style isn't similar enough though.
Yeah it’s weird one. Perhaps it’s just down to the fact that those extra few days on the training ground really make a difference to how he can drill the team for the upcoming game.
I guess he’s not really stayed at a club that long where all the automatisms become second nature to the whole squad. Maybe that’s it?

Latin countries don’t do health and safety.
Last dying squeel of laughter before the curtains (iron ones of course) are draped and Chelsea are laid to rest.
This is a cracking comment from morespurs.
La Bombonera is probably safer.

Yeah but that’s a meme comment going around. I think this one came from the bottom of morespurs’ heart, it’s more authentic.

Hopefully, if Chelsea die, Arsene can piiisss all over the grave.
Doesn’t work on my phone. What is it?
Is this Chelsea fan for real?
A few Chelsea fans are now popping off at lampard for not defending Chelsea in his press conference. Worst fanbase in the prem
You can’t say that, it’s bigoted. And incorrect, because scousers.
Scousers are only really (really) bad on footballing matters, they are decent politically.
Chels and WHU are just bad throughout.
When I worked in London I swear every racist in my office was a Chelsea fan, every one Brexit supporting and immigrant hating.
Funnily enough in the football league I played in, every team full of chavvy b*llends were spurs fans and the sound teams were a*rsenal fans
That’s kind of true, to be fair, but there’s not a group of fans that monopolise sanctimony quite like them.
