There's an aesthetic beauty to overhead kicks, screamers into the top corner, and the likes, but I'll always prefer team goals or individuals goal that involve dribbling past four or five opponents.

All true, but this team just seems to rise to the challenge in the cl. Especially Ronaldo. He’s been absolutely ridiculous in the CL the last few years. Even when Messi was at his best he wasn’t coming up with the big goals in the CL like Ronaldo has been. Read a stat that he’s now scored 22 goals in the CL quarters, which is more than Juventus.

My favourite goals are ones like Martin wag horns at the weekend. That's the pure beauty of football all encapsulates in 3 seconds of chaos.

they applauded him for that overhead kick goal...which is fair enough i suppose

after that goal btw he missed 3 very decent chances inducing a sitter at the end

i think he had less touches than any other madrid player bar navas
