Two cross sport questions:
In the nba they always talk about the leap that players have after playing for Team USA. Is there similar for players after playing for England?
Also Doc Rivers (bucks coach) was on Bill Simmons podcast the other day being relatively candid about the season and just talking about a lot of basketball stuff. We don’t really ever have the equivalent with current PL/football managers do we?
Mendes trying to force Felix back to Chelsea now dance with the devil, you're gonna get burnt
Chelsea’s transfer policy is amazing.
Edin, as in a leap in the level they play at? Not sure that’s really a thing with England.
Yeah that’s not really a thing with managers. I suspect a lot of that is because the media in England are such beeeellends that they don’t want to be quoted out of context.
Not sure if it’s a thing in Europe, though.

Yeah a leap the level they play at, they say its because they learn how the very best (LBJs, Currys etc) push themselves even harder and have a level of dedication that they aren't used to. Don't think there is the same thing in football.

He just has to be so boringly contrary the whole time, it’s exhausting. It seems like he thinks that as he has carte blanche to write whatever sports topic he wants he has bought all the way in on his own self importance
Wilson’s like that as well. Reminds me of the Smug episode of South Park.
Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce have been knocked out of the Champions League third qualifying round by Lille.
Mourinho's side go into the Europa League league stage.
Great start for him

You just know we're drawing them.
Ronay can be an aerosol too.
My dream is now for Mourinho to lose it in some extremely remote and hostile location and get skewered like a kebab. Green and red peppers, onion, and all.
On second thought, it doesn't even have to be all that remote. Saudi consulate in Istanbul would do.
