What happened here!?
-----------
I said whoever put 50p in Weare could also have taught him to use apostrophes, and that he (Weare) was an embarrassment to England.
He deleted and banned me.

Who should apologise for what?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You should, for your misplaced broadsiding of Italian fans for the actions -as proved by the piece of context I posted- of a few.
We're civilised people on this thread, Boris, we don't do blind xenophobia.
Honestly ioag there is a reason why I reduced the time I spend on this site significantly. If he could tarnish the Napoli fans with the fascist brush and be schooled by Forza on why that generalisation of Italian fans is not only wrong but extremely insensitive yet say something similar a few months down the line, you'd have to ask yourself why people even visit the site. If you're presented with new information that should make you adjust your views, why should someone's reaction be to dig in even further. It's quite annoying tbh.
Not worth getting wound up over, wump. I don't think Edin's going to change any time soon.
What's happening over there, wump?
Been hearing on and off about politically-motivated violence, but haven't followed closely enough to have a clear picture of what's going on ...
Maybe for the worse or is that even possible?
He can only go sideways from here.

I'm not even sure myself. To summarise it though: we had an election in August that was declared none and valid by the courts after the opposition leader cried foul due to irregularities. The courts ordered a fresh presidential election and the opposition refused to take part in the new election if the guys running the first election were not removed from office. They claim that it would just be another sham election. When it became clear the same guys would be running the election they withdrew from the contest and asked the supporters to boycott the election. During this entire time there has been protests against the electoral body with the police, being absolute human garbage that they've always been, killing a number of protesters. So today was the day of the second election and it has turned out as expected with opposition strongholds boycotting the vote with some having no elections at all due to protesters blocking election material from reaching polling stations. TLDR: It's a mess that has screwed us quite a bit

That's terrible to hear, wump. Did you get caught up in any of it?
Oh dear. Sounds like a bit of a stalemate right now, then.
Hopefully the find a way out and things don't go down the same route as a few years ago.
Boris, this thread is for peaceful cohabitation and light-hearted banter between people who know how to get along and know when they're overstepping the limit.
Keep it within those boundaries and you're as welcome as the next man (or woman).
Nah Darren I'm mostly fine although the tension hasn't been ideal.
It is unlikely to go down like it did in 2007/8 as the tribes that were killing each other or maybe I should say have actually been at each other's throats are in an alliance in the government. The worst that can happen is prolonged destructive protests with the (piece of crap) police doing most of the killing.
I'll rephrase my original comment then.
Some Italian football fans are still living in the 1980's.
Stlll, There are no excuses for using a murdered 15 year girl as a political or club rivalry football.
Moving on...Gump, where are you? Kenya?
Yeah must be horrible being surrounded by it all. Hope things ge better.

Completely agree. Forza ought to be ashamed.
Yeah Boris. I'm in Kenya.
Hope so too Darren. The whole circus has been dreadful for everyone. Jobs have been lost, businesses shut down due to a poor economy. Will just be happy to have it all come to an end
hope things start getting better over there Wumpy
Forza is a valued member of this thread...which now includes serie A ofcourse
Boris ....dont make comments like that generalizing about italian football fans on this thread
Italian fans are wonderful, that's why my mates who are going to next weeks Napoli/City game have bought stab vests.
Not joking, but Spanish/Madrid media spoke wonders of visiting Napoli fans last year, said they were the best behaved and best fun to have around in years.
They were generally arrogant and aggressive when they were in Manchester a couple of weeks ago.
I've been to Italy twice in the last 2 years and the football fans don't reflect the usual friendliness of the people.
It's never more than a minority though.
Ajax fans were far worse.
