He's a talent, but I don't think he really excels at any one thing. Needs to improve his decision making. Martial is a better dribbler and finisher but doesn't have much else to his game compared to Rashford.
It does surprise me that people expect us to compete with City with attackers of this calibre being relied on.
City are setting a pace we'd struggle matching with the team we had with Ronaldo and Rooney, far better players than these two will ever be, but apparently these guys should have us up there with this City team.

he had ties to Naples domestically (a chikd with a Neapolitan woman) and vsits the city regularly and has toured the prisons.

Still cracks me up.

You’re right. Our attackers are better than yours as well. Tbf the issue mainly is just Mourinho, honestly what a load of nonsense he has become as a manager of late, especially going forward. I’d hate him to be anywhere near my club.
Yeah he's a big issue, but he cops far too much blame from some for our attacker's inability to keep us up there with City, the whole squad isn't good enough to play at that level. I just hate the style, the results haven't been terrible this season. I hope he leaves in the summer but I'm not sure he will.
The squad still needs a lot of work regardless of who is coach. People seem to think we don't need to spend money just because we've wasted loads of money since Fergie retired. It's a dumb argument.

Out of curiosity do you think you will do much better if you had City’s attackers?
Simeone Nah I like Tuchel.
Edin, yeah I do. They suit Mourinho's counter attacking style better than ours as well. And in general are just better footballers.

I don’t think so Darren. Mourinho style relies too heavily on a tall striker, also I think Sane is good at pressing but wouldn’t do a defensive job well like Rashford has being a glorified LWB
It relies more on the striker being able to hold up the ball, something both Jesus and Aguero do much better than Lukaku. Sane's tracking back has looked ok to me. Honestly, we'd much better with their attackers as they're much better players and far better suited.
We lack pace, creativity and width. Dunno how you can look at both Manchester sides and not come to the conclusion we'd be better with their attackers.
I think while their attackers are miles better I just don’t think they suit Jose’s style well.
Every team he has has succeeded with has had striker hybrids for wingers and tall strikers. Except for Hazard.
And Di Maria, Duff and Robben. But apart from that.
And Willian. Pacy ball carriers are what his team relies on. Sterling and Sane are great at that. Far better than what we've got.
Di Maria was more of a midfielder under Jose I thought? Yeah forgot Duff and Robben tbf

Tbf Sterling and Sane are that good. I just don’t see how his long ball-hold up tactic would work with Aguero and Jesus’s combined height being less than Lukaku.
I dunno it’s impossible to say, but if I was picking 3 attackers to suit a Mourinho team from the PL I don’t think any of City’s three would make the team. (Or at least 3 that Mourinho would pick)

Di Maria was a winger. Ozil played out wide as well. Striker/winger hybrid is ballacks.
You'd have to put Silva or De Bruyne in there for less long balls to be played. Our midfield/and wingers being unable to take the ball and move it forward under pressure, apart from Pogba, contributes a lot to our long balls.
Watch how often our players lose it with their back to goal, breaks down so many counters. Having cb's that can play under pressure would help. We've struggled against pressing teams for years. Even under Fergie.
If I was picking my midfield/attack I think ideal for Mourinho from the PL I think I would go:
Hazard Kane Mane
Fernandinho Pogba
Dier
He’d probably say there isn’t enough height
Swap Dier for Ozil and I'd agree.
