How long is Keatings out for?
Probably not back until September.
Ivan...that boy Moussa looked absolutely rotten and dumb into the bargain.
The offside header....what was he thinking about?
Then the superman dive for a penalty
Not a bad game tbf.
Ahh. I thought I heard he was going to be out for most of the season as he done his knee ligaments but in commentary they were saying they were looking forward to seeing him form a partnership with McDonald.
I only watched the 2nd half and to be fair Dundee were unlucky not win it. I thought Scott Allan looked good.
I thought Allan was poor tbh. Never really did much and was always on the periphery of the game. not sure being wide helped him though.
I only seen the 2nd half but looked like he was pinging the ball about for fun and created the goal
Playing without a striker is the new thing dontcha know!
Only thing I would add about Fraser (and I agree with what you said) is that his first time ball through for our goal was excellent, I just wish he would do more of that kind of thing!
Really disappointed with the draw for the next round, hopefully that wee gobscheidt McCann gets egg on his face though, already saying it's the draw he was hoping for, this after his interview saying how Dundee should play with a swagger because they're the top team in the city.

McDonald doesn't look match fit but he looks like he has shifted a lot of timber
I didn't see the game-only heard bits on the radio-but the last 30 minutes or just under that sounded like a decent match. McCann'a comments after the game will either come back and bite him or give him something to crow about as well.
Some of McCann's comments have been strange to say the least. Putting a bit of pressure on his own players and I don't think his players are up to it.
Playing to the galleries I suspect.

How did SKIPPY play? 😳
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He was alright. Very rusty.
Is the "Doon Derby" officially a name now for the game a few seasons back that sent the Arabs down?
UTC, it's the term the fans use, and apparently the official Dundee FC twitter account.
Weird, I didn't think Scobbie was that bad and would have put Allardice in the "awful" category. He just didn't seem to do anything. Although Flood replaced him and just gave away fouls. Quite funny reading other United fans' opinions on the game, as some had Scobbie as playing well, others thought he was terrible, some hated Briels others loved him. Pretty much the same for every player; even saw McMullan getting stick. All very inconsistent.
Agree about Fraser though. Can't keep playing him like that as he's clearly not right. Not entirely sure who our other options are though. And as Border pointed out, he did help set up the goal.
Hobo
I thought Scobbie got turned inside out by the lad on the right wing. He never got to grips with him at all. In the first half the boy kept doing a wee step over then going to the by-line and Scobbie bought it every time.
I'm not a fan of Allardice but I thought he moved the ball quite well and it was easily his best game in United shirt.
And I can't believe people don't like Briels
I quit that thread btw. Too much mud slinging over discussion.
Blarmy
I agree. It's a shame because it lasted a long time with decent discussion.
