This is just ridiculous. I hate football.
So basically it's really dodgy.

Same.
I think in time most transfers will work similarly.
Eventually transfer fees will become obsolete.

Agreed. Almost done with it. Greed is sickening.
Good work Rupert Murdoch, look what you've done. Now hurry up and snuff it.
people are going to go into meltdown over this if true, got to admire the pure cheek of it
I just don't see how any person can think 'I only earn EIGHTY THOUSAND POUNDS A WEEK, I need to move clubs to double that.
Like literally W. T. F.
Nice work you can get it
Don't really fall into the 'falling out of love for the game' category.
All the transfer season and even week to week when it's quiet, yeah the money is ridiculous now but when match day comes I feel the same as I did 10 years ago. When the whistle blows and the game kicks off I couldn't give a feck about money or agent fees.
I got a season ticket at Wembley next season to watch spurs, I really am not excited at all about the new season. firstly I cannot stand Wembley, and secondly, I have really enjoyed the summer of no football.

this, how does a player signing for a obscene amount of money somewhere make you "fall out of love of the game"

That's insane!
How long till we see the first billion pound player?
such a stange move and a step down, must be really concerned about being overshaded by messi... winning the french league wont help that

Because the people playing it aren't real people. They're ridiculous mega celebrities who aren't in the real world. And it's not really a sport is it, where people play for competition and fun. They just play to be stupidly minted. It doesn't really mean anything any more.
I still have an interest in it, but I don't really care these days.

But why does anyone need that much money? You can already afford absolutely anything that you want.

tbh if I played for a club I didn't support and another club I didn't support offered to double my wages, I would be gone too.
unless the other club was arsenal west ham or Chelsea, wouldn't go anywhere near those caaants
Remember when we all said "no one is gna pay these ridiculous buyout clauses"...
He'll boss the French league, as for money why wouldn't you want to earn more?
the buyout clauses will just end up more silly.

wow bossing the french league, so amazing
How can this affect your love of football. I follow the championship and Neymar to PSG has no impact on a terrific league in England.
Won't affect me, so couldn't care less, fair play to Neymar for getting the money
