I also like Kent a lot. He's clearly been watching Suarez when he was here.

From the first moment I saw him I thought he was special. He hasn't really translated that on the pitch much yet but the way he took that goal last night was excellent. He has a big future.

Itd rumoured Messi has been taking tips off him on how to move the ball in tight spaces and Mbappe refuses to come to Anfield because he knows he wont get in above Woodburn.

Its all good fella

He's got class, and is under the right manager to grow his career.

Patience needed from supporters, he's not going to be a world beater overnight and needs to learn the game.

Who knows what could happen with injury and form though. Too early to be going crazy about him but he has obvious quality that can't be taught.

ARE, I don't know the transfer window has closed? So that's it until January? Gosh. And there was silly old me thinking it didn't close until the end of the month.

I think the players bought in this far have been very good indeed. Yes, Solanke, Woodburn and especially Kent have all progressed and will be knocking on the door to the first team.

When it comes to purchases, no two clubs can be compared, it all depends on the state of the team/squad at the end of the season. As I've said elsewhere, both Manchester clubs need massive rebuilding, esp City. At the other end of the scale, Spurs just need to keep together, so, for me, comparison is difficult if not pointless.
