Van Dijk would win use the title he's that good. Him and Matip together would be a hard defense to breach.

However caution is required because I wouldn't be surprised if other clubs come in for him and Southampton may fancy facking us off after the alleged tapping up.

Disagree about the price though, if we get him we are still going to have to pay full whack, we are talking £70-75m.

Big mistake

Main reason we need VVD is his leadership at the back and I believe he won the most headers in the league despite being out injured for 5 months. Would massively improve our organisation and defending on set pieces.

I hope he comes to us. Still have a nagging concern that Chelsea will try and beat us to him, as they've done in the past.

Think he will go to Chelsea, can't see him signing for us after everything that's happened.

exactly, i dont get why people think he is CFC bound, VVD publicly stated he wants to join LFC. LFC want him and tbh CFC are in a mess.
