GTA.. Just one more mission.
Ok one more.
Runescape - an embarrassing waste of hours, it's still somehow the most addictive game I've ever played. GTA games have had that effect on me too, but for "good" reason at least.
Stupid Clicker games on Steam, totally pointless yet totally mesmerising. (clicker heroes being a fave)
Manager/simulation games once you get into can waste hours doing tiny things.
Red Dead Redemption/GTA/general open world - If i get into it can sit for hourse just wandering about

For me its Civ. Seriously im sure you drop into a time portal or something. Play 15 mins and six hours have passed. Now i have rules like Gremlins
Never start after 10pm
And never ever start any type of war after midnight! Or let Ghandi have the nukes
The sims
Skyrim
Red dead redemption
Football manager
Final fantasys 7-12
fitbaw manager, Any Elder Scroll title.
However can easily spend a whole day setting up a car and practicing for a race on Assetto Corsa. Doesnt feel like much til i try to move and my neck and back are shot and my arms feel like jelly and the wheel has given me callouses on my palms and also on my heels. What i go thro eh .... the pain !!
It took me 20 days to platinum inc DLCs Skyrim special edition
I completely no lifed that game but I really enjoyed it!
Back in my teens I was addicted to Command and Conquer and Broken Sword on PC - could binge on them for hours
More recently football manager
Red Dead Redemption.
Collecting herbs for hours, ridiculous really.
Need for Speed Underground back in the day.
As I've aged, I only had this problem with Batman: Arkham Asylum. Finding all the collectibles and finding solutions to the riddles became stupidly addictive.
I'm glad I don't play RPG's, I'd become a complete recluse.

Can't wait for the second one, hopefully won't lose the magic.
Mine was COD:MW2 while I was at secondary school (yr8-10). Gone off Call of Duty since. Hopefully the new WWII themed game will be good.

One more turn at half 10.....then it's 2am and you're up in 4 hours for work.
Big ones for me were GoldenEye, FF7, Both Zelda games on the N64, Rainbox Six on the N64 (I was a student in them days...
Massively Binged on nearly every GTA apart from GTA3 & 4, never played either, completed all the rest and obviously Red Dead Redemption and LA Noire (I liked it despite Cole Phelps being a d!ck).
Later on I binged massively on loads of PC games like WoW, Eve Diablo 1,2 and 3, Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2, Baldurs Gate 2.
Currently binging on The Old Republic and PUBG, basically play it every chance I get, need more chicken dinners though
Basically I don't have a console anymore and only play on PC.
Civilization is a given. Especially modded Civ IV. I've gotten up before breakfast, started a game and realised by around 8pm that I have forgotten to eat.
Euro Truck Simulator 2. Ah I'll just drive to Calais and leave it there. Then a couple of hours later I'm in Poland accepting another job.
Skyrim / Fallout / Red Dead Redemption / GTA
NBA 2K games
Football Manager
Commandos - Behind Enemy Lines
Theme Hospital
The Sims
Faming Simulator - I spent ages the other day hay baling on a field on a slope. I didn't realise that I had attached the wrong hay baler so I was getting cylinder bales instead of cuboid ones. When I'd finished and I looked at my work, all my hay bales had rolled into the next field. I then had to spend the next hour moving them all with my forklift truck.

I think that might be my favourite JA post of all time.
Bought a new tractor over the weekend. Increased horse power and top speed, reasonable maintenance costs. Could really see the benefit when I went to plough my first field with it, was making incredible time. Then I realised I hadn't actually lowered the plough.
