Cross, cross, long-range shot, cross, corner, long range shot. Proper long ball, Wimbledon-esque stuff here.....

Against reals midfield? I suppose guys On here have players in their team better than Kroos, Isco, modric ffs the season hasn't started yet, didn't play well today but this season won't be judged against Madrid
Remember all the people who think its great that having Matic will allow Pogba to go further forward.
What a liability. United desperately need a proper playmaker behind the striker.
Pogba shouldn't be allowed past the halfway line.

Majority of comments from other fans. Very strange. I'd like to see Henderson against this Madrid team as he is apparently one of the best cms in the league.
We played alright and really should have drawn the game given Rashfords chance.
One thing has to be said, he isn't a good finisher at all. His header today for example was so basic

The problem is that because he cost so much, we are attempting to build a team around an average player.
Which is a major reason we will struggle for top 4 again this season.
Well..you can see why Madrid didn't want pogba now. Not when they have superior players already in midfield.

He's not very good.He plays like bambi on ice in most games.I think we would like alot more balanced without him too.
Well at least he isn't a £89 mill flop now, with the news that his agent took around £40 mill from the fee ---- officially he's only a £49 million flop.

this is a big issue. With his price tag he just wont be dropped.
Getting to the top tiers of european football is a long way away with a side built around him.

He hasn't shown anything in his year at United to warrant the tag of a very good player.
He has been poor a lot, decent occasionally and good rarely.
It's his decision making that baffles me tbh, further up the pitch or in his own half, he doesn't make good choices IMO, not just based on tonight of course either but...
Twice he misjudged a header which nearly led to a goal, he dallies on the ball when there's a simple pass on 5-10 yards away and in the 1st half how he thought it would be better to shoot from 25 yards than play in Lingard or Miki is a mystery.
It isn't because this was Madrid either, he was doing similar things against Hull and Bournmouth last season.
