The papers are even desperately trying to sell Sissoko to Turkey, that`s how much these mugs hate Spurs

If they hated us they'd be saying he's staying

Rose should shut his mouth and be grateful he is playing at a club like Spurs. It wasn't long ago he was being shipped out on loan before Poch came along and saved him. Without that I very much doubt Rose would be anything more than an average PL player. If he wants to win trophies how about he puts more effort into getting fit quicker than his usual recovery and pays back to the club that made him.

We've given the press all the ammunition they need though. I mean not doing anything in the transfer window when we should be, and it's going to fuel the fire in the press's eyes.

He gave them a big warning in may. Be ambitious otherwise this is the summer where FBs go for big money.

Said when Walker left the rest would see and be in thier minds.

Sure Rose & Walker have same agent

Injuries aside Rose has paid back the club with good performances over the last couple of seasons. Same as Walker. It's not really like he's not pulling his weight, unlike when Sterling wanted to leave Liverpool.

Like to say again before I get another odds update I don't think he'll go.

This was interesting from poch this morning

"Poch didn't rule it out when specifically asked about Rose leaving- he said we'll see when we receive an offer. Hopefully he's just teasing interested clubs."

Maybe they knew this was coming out?

Danny fackin Murphy said a few months ago that he knew for a fact that both Walker and Rose wanted out of Spurs, maybe he was right all along.

The pair of them were probably worded about the possibility of earning more money elsewhere months ago, and had their heads turned, only Rose`s injury scuppered any early bid for him.

Interestingly, Poch was asked about Rose today and did not categorically say he would not be sold, he just said any concrete bids for any player is always considered.

I said it somewhere at the time Levy came out and clarified his stance on the transfer window, that it could aggravate players, in particular Rose. Seems like this is exactly what's happened. Rose will have seen that, and it will have confirmed for him we won't be showing the sort of ambition he's hoping for.

We'll gladly take him off your hands. Our left backs are crap.

All confirmed.

Not paid what he's worth or is the rest of the squad

Would love to be a fly on the wall during Ed and Levy's negotiations.

"I will play in the north"

Is that from Game of Thrones?

to be fair he never said when

The "play in the north" comment was apparently said as at some point he'd like to move back north and be near his mum and family. He's a Doncaster lad I think.

The rest of the stuff he's said doesn't look good though. Levy and Poch won't be happy.

You can't pay top players that low and expect nothing to go wrong.

Nothing we didn't know here - the players can all earn much more elsewhere

Open the bidding at 75 mill

Ha, he thinks he's Jon Snow now.

I forget what he's being paid at the club, but you can see where he's going with that when Walker is earning what he's earning and Walker isn't any better.

Good luck with that. Player is unhappy so you have less power.
