Can't see why not, if you get the mix of Europa and the League right and keep Sanchez you have every chance.

Don't think many pundits have factored in the loss of CL football for Arsenal this season.

AW will most likely play a second string in the Europa league which should benefit PL results.

Arsenal should see the Europa as a European trophy they can win, rather than a reserves competition.

There's still the possibility of missing out on top 4 even if they totally throw the Europa away, so it's a good option to have as a route into the CL.

Really think arsenal should go all out for the CL although I see Milan being a real force in it this year, their team is shaping up nicely.

I think it depends a lot on the opposition. If the draws are in our favour, then Wenger will play a second team which should be good enough tbh.

It's not as easy as it was for us every season, there's usually some really good sides in it that you can't get away with second string teams playing.

The luck of the draw really was with us last year to get us back in the CL.

Wenger isn't good enough. No top 4 again.

I think they'll get top4 along with City, United and Chelsea

If Sanchez stays and doesn't throw the toys out of the pram then they have a good chance of top 4.

Interesting interview from Wenger for French TV (SFR sport).
Reiterating that Sanchez won't be sold in this window but surprinsgly admitting that they have tried to make him sign a new contract for the past year or so and therefore not really optimistic that he will during the season.

This is what I already mentioned (few times) Wenger is not that silly to allow to run down his contract. You don't agree with my posts anyway...but thought to prove a point

City, Arsenal, Liverpool will be in top4. Very hard to pick between Chelsea Utd and Spurs.

On other note, Ornstein has spoken...Lemar deal looking unlikely.

I think we should forget about him and sign Mahrez + Jean Seri.

Mahrez wants to leave so we can put pressure on LCFC to force this in our hands. £40m should be enough to bring him to Emirates.

If we can get the balance right, a decent EL & PL campaign is more than achievable. Our squad, whilst needs trimming a fair bit, is pretty good if we keep the obvious.....
