Coutinho

A few weeks ago Utd fans were moaning about 'sky sources', saying they were clearly made up.

What changed?

posted on 11/8/17

Selbs, I wasn't moaning and I made this post so that's o.k I guess.

People bet that. Coutinho will stay through SkyBet!

Fsg release statement saying he will definitely stay as no bids will be excepted!

Sky Sources reveal that Coutinho has handed in a transfer request!

It's all most as if sky are trying to manipulate the market but we all know that's not true!

Why is Karma mentioned?

Surely, Karma would only be a bіtch if Coutinho had actually handed in a transfer request.

As he hasn't, your comment just proves you are a tіt.

If Coutinho doesn't leave, Liverpool have an unhappy player.

Win win really.

Just like Suarez in his last season when he tore the league up?

Coutinho didn't tear anything up last season. He was good but not spectacular and you came 4th and won nothing. So he's replaceable.

£100m for him would be a good deal considering what you paid and the fact you aren't really a title challenger with him either.

Where did anyone say Coutinho tore it up?

Busby said having an unhappy player was win win and I said just like Suarez in his last season you facking d!ckhead!

I know you didn't. But Coutinho doesn't tear up anything therefore isn't as much of a miss as Suarez. Sell him and take the £100m or whatever it is. That's a great fee for him really.

Sky Sources are hardly reliable so taking this with a pinc of salt.

If it is true they can say 'We told you first' and if it isn't they can claim from another sources that he's changed his mind or something. No lose for them and gets people to click.

I do think he's a terrific player but I'm wondering whether he shines at LFC because of the way they play. Similar to Soton players who look world beaters there and not so much when they leave. Not saying he wouldn't be a success but he suits Liverpool and I think this summer would be the wrong time for him to move with the World Cup in 2018.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You are way too sensible to be a Utd supporter. It's almost as if you think before you type

If he has submitted a transfer request (and 'sky sources' don't count as proof for me) then I'd be happy for him to go. I don't want an unhappy player and I'd understand the lure of Barca and playing with an all time great player in Messi.

Interesting point about suiting Liverpool's style. He's often referred to as a big game player, I think that's largely because bigger teams don't sit back against Liverpool so he has a bit more space. From what I've seen the Spanish league is a lot more open, frankly I think the league is a perfect fit for him.

There plenty of sensible United (and Liverpool) fans on here to be fair but a lot of them aren't going to miss an opportunity for a little WUMming. It's what opposition fans do.

I think Coutinho is a great little player and would be a miss for the PL but if him leaving makes it better for United I'm all for it. However, United's best displays in Europe have coincided with a strong opposition.

I do think he's overrated a tad by Liverpool fans and may well be underrated by United's (and other team's fans) but I don't think him leaving would be the catastrophe for you that it could seem at the moment.

Just for balance though here's my LAL

Well as there appear to be no meltdowns on here or at Anfield (twatter doesn't count) it appears that you are indeed a mug.

If James Pearce is putting his name to it then that's good enough for me.

To be honest, I'd sell now.

He wants to go and I want people who want to play for the club.
