Pogba was world class?
Lets relax, it was against a west ham team who perfomed terribly, sitting back all game.
Great start, but lets see where we are after 10 games.

West ham didn't sit back, they were bulldozed back Ron.
Not a knee jerk article then lol
Seriously, he is a very good player, no argument from me. I don't think he is at the very top level though because usually for Chelsea when playing agst our rivals he dissapears, but for the PL when most of the games are agst teams outside the top 6, he is very good.
Bit premature to say that but he looks a better footballer than many of us thought
I started to take a lot of the criticism of his signing - including from Chelsea fans - which a pinch of salt.
Much of the commentary sounded like the sort of things our own fans would say about carrick, which to anyone who understood what they were watching, was clearly nonsense.
He was good against Madrid and excellent today. Early days but promising.
So this Matic chap, I hear he was great?
What was all the pre season negative fuss about then?
Shame I missed the game at work 😑
Jesus clean up all this mess off the floor! It's one game in and you have blurted your load all over JA606!

How dare you dis the league leaders
Word is Conte didn't want to sell him. So who's running Chelsea? Oh, that's right, a wealthy clown. Feel gutted for Conte, but delighted we have our missing ingredient, a stunning performance indeed. As Phil Jones alluded to, he takes a lot of pressure off the back line, and was almost flawless in the middle of the pitch. Good stuff lads, good stuff.

Klopp doesn't want to sell Coutinho but if the board decides then he's gone.
Our clown watches his team every week.
Your plethora, once every couple of years?
A wealthy clown is over playing it considering their record since he arrived.

It's just the first game of the season. I'm not gonna hype him up just yet. I'll wait a few games. We started last season well until we lost to City and then lost again to Watford.
Matic wanted to leave Chelsea and told the club he would not sign a new contract. He had two yeasr left and at 29 years old Chelsea therfefore deemed that give the situation £40m was good value.
If Baka can prove himself with Chelsea then it will be no big deal. as he is much younget than Matic.
I don't remember any fans of the top 6 clubs from last season saying "wow Matic what a player" There is a reason for that in that agst the best teams he gets found out.
But to win the league, having a player who is good agst the teams outside the top 6 is sometimes all you need.....for example Fabregas.
Matic outclassed Pogba, he was making touches, passes and interceptions we expected form out £90m man.

Conte had to convince Matic to stay last season. Bakayoko was bought to replace him and it seems Matic didn't want to be a squad player.
I have no qualms about selling him. Didn't see him play today but it's no surprise to see him performing better in the middle of a three man midfield than two.

Didn't play particularly well in any of those early wins though.
Busby,
I though Matic and Pogba went about their work equally as well, with Pogba obviously doing it further up the pitch.
If both can maintain comparable performances through the season then we'll be there or thereabouts.
