I think Willian looked a lot better because he was operating in more space than when Moses plays.
I think him and Moses are too similar - they get in each others way offensively. I liked the balance Azpi gave personally. Perhaps that's why Pedro was favoured last season?
Costa looks like exactly what you need to me.
Didn't see the game live but went back to see it again yesterday. It's not all loom and gloom like the media is painting. The players lost their heads after Cahil was sent off. My only problem is you don't panic going down to 10 men against Burnley (no disrespect).
In the second half, you wouldn't even know we were playing a man down. Even with 9 men, we looked like we could win.
he defeat stole what would have been a good headline for Morata's debut. I am relaxed and I hope all the injured players will be back soon.

No, would have gone down to 8 men with him on sat
Haha, true. Wonder what would happen if you brought him back into the team now
Have to admit, Morata did look quality.
I'm not the best person to ask, I've not rated costa for a long while. Usually getting heat from other chelsea fans.
At the weekend bats couldnt trap a bag of cement, which was costa's biggest weakness too imo. Game changed when morata came on.
Costa would have done a lot more in the way of movement. Also i doubt the defenders would have had an easy time leaning on him as they did Bats
Not to be too much of a buzzkill, but Morata already is proven as a good Debutant and Substitute. What he hasn't proven is himself as a player who can lead the line all season, which is why there are big question marks around him.
You give your team too much credit. Sure its tough when you go down to 10 men, but to ship 3 goals at home to Burnley...is that showing fight?
Everyone has off days and the game was just one of those games. But second half definite signs of fight. Terrible keeping for their first goal too. Also had morata not thought christensens shot was going wide we would have probably drew the game. Small margins but what's done is done.,
I think this weekend is the first time in my life I've gone into a game against spurs expecting us to lose. Strange feeling

Fair comment. I guess I should have been more explicit in that I was referring to the last 30 minutes when Morata came on.
The way we played in the first 60, especially the first 45, was garbage. No reason to lose it so much as 10 men against Burley. Still a very winnable game if we didn't throw it away so quick.
